I felt my Ruby go limp in my arms... her breath was shaky and a tear streamed down her cheeks

We gently fell to the ground... I could feel the warm liquid gently ooze from her back onto my hand

"Mr Amoretti"
She said barely

Her eyes wear red and filled with tears that streamed down little by little

I gently held her hand and kissed it

"You'd be fine... I promise.... I won't let anything happen to you"
I said

"Just hang on"
I said gently touching her beautiful hair

She smiled weakly

"I won't let anything happen to you... not again"
I said

"How'd I look today?"
She said gently

"Beautiful... like always "
I said kissing her hand

"I love you alot"
I said

"I know "
She whispered gently

"I love you more Alessandro... don't worry I'd be fine "
She said

"Sir... we have to take her now... she's loosing a lot of blood"
A man who I assume to be a medic said

In a couple seconds Ruby was wheeled out

I only shot Shane's leg... he was wheeled out also

I stood up gently

"Are you okay"
My dad asked resting his hand on my shoulder

I gently stared at my hand ... Ruby's blood

I took a deep breath and nodded

"Let's go to the hospital"
I said

Every step I took was followed by pain

"You need help there"
Matteo said Holding my hand and lounging it across his shoulder to give me support

"Thanks"
I said

"Ruby would be fine... she's a fighter"
Jackson said as we walked outside

I watched them put Mr and Mrs Amado in a police car

There was a whole lot of media people outside taking pictures some wanting interviews

The police managed to clear them and we got into our car

I let out a deep breath and allowed my broken body to sink into the car seat

I gently rubbed my stomach... it hurt So bad

I hope I haven't broken a rib or two

"Faresti bene fratello"
Matteo said tapping my shoulder

You'd be fine brother

"I hope nothing happens to Ruby... if she's okay... I'm okay, I hope Alissa is okay"
I said and Matteo nodded

"Starebbero tutti bene"
My dad said

Everything would be fine

I closed my eyes and took deep breaths

"What's your pain level outta ten?"
Jackson asked

"Eleven "
I said gently

"We'd be at the hospital soon... just hang on"
Jackson said

With every passing second the pain increased

I just kept my eyes closed and tried to breathe

"We're here"
Matteo said causing me to open my eyes
