Chapter 6

Lando, seeing how embarrassed I was, tried to cheer me up. At first, the conversation with him seemed downright complicated for me because I still had fragments of the previous night in my head.
„Let's play table football," -he suggested, standing up and extending his hand to me. I tentatively grabbed it and was quickly pulled from my place on the couch to his body. I looked at him, feeling my cheeks turn pink. Lando smiled and gave me a gentle kiss. Playing table football with Lando turned out to be a good idea to relax the atmosphere. I had a lot of fun when Lando couldn't score in my goal. Maybe because I protected it tightly with plastic people. The final score was 13-8 for me and Lando didn't want to talk to me.
„You sucks in table football," -I said, laughing. Lando looked at me with furrowed brows.
„I'm saying the truth, so don't look at me like that."
His face finally broke into a smile.
„Will you just smile?" -I asked, surprised. Lando kept looking at me with a smile, which started to irritate me a little. Knowing his personality, I expected some teasing comment from him. "You're annoying sometimes."
„Annoying huh? Well, it's not my fault," -he replied. The guy had some nerve.
„It's not your fault you're annoying?"
„It's not my fault that I can't stop looking at you." His last words made my stomach do flip. He may have been an annoying clown, but more often than not he was charming. As he sat on the couch, I gently dug my fingers into his cheeks, which irritated him. When he grabbed my hand, he gently bit my finger, making me laugh.
„Okay Mr cuteness, what's the plan for the rest of the day?" -I asked, correcting myself on the spot. "I, um, I mean me and my group had a plan to do one thing today."-he replied.
It was strange to hear that he didn't include me in his plan. After all, we didn't have to spend every moment together.
„Great, so I can take another nap," -I replied indifferently. Lando lowered his head.
„What? Did I say something wrong?"- I asked, confused.
„I thought that you would like to come with me." I raised my eyebrows in surprise.
„Do I have to?" -I replied, holding back a smile. Lando looked up and looked at me with puppy ​​eyes.
„If you don't want to," -he began.
„Fineee, but you have to stop doing this puppy eyes. It's impossible to say no to them."
Lando smiled.
„You can't say no to my eyes?" -he asked playfully. I rolled my eyes then got up and went to get ready to leave.

Seeing all the Quadrant members, the most amusing thing for me was seeing Max with three bottles of water. Ria hugged me gently in greeting. She was probably the only one in a good mood because she immediately recalled yesterday's party.
„So why did you left so early yesterday?" -she asked. I looked at Lando who was also looking at me.
„Rose didn't feel well," -he replied, saving me from answering the question. Max nudged Niran and started giggling, but he didn't add any comment, which made me feel relieved. All they could do was guess, because I wasn't going to talk about what happened after returning to the hotel. "Okay, so each of us will have the opportunity to do one lap in this car." - said Max, pointing to the rather unusual car. - "The fastest time wins, but there is one catch."
I rolled my eyes and Lando laughed.
„We can't touch any cone, otherwise we get a penalty."
„It'll be fun," -Aarav laughed.

"I wonder who I'm paired with," -Lando said, giggling.
„Do you think you're in a pair with me?" -I asked, watching the struggles of Niran, who was in a pair with Aarav.
„Well, I wouldn't mind."

Lando was paired with Ethan and I wasn't even surprised how Lando managed to drive without knocking out any cones and got the best time. When it was my turn, it turned out that I was paired with Max.
„I swear, Max, if you say anything, I'll kill you," -I informed him as I fastened my seat belt. Max just laughed.

Lando Pov

I felt a little dissatisfied to see that Rose was paired with Max.
„I feel sorry for her for having Max with her."-Ria said with a soft smile. I felt more sorry for Max because he didn't know what Rose could be like when she was angry. Initially, Rose's ride went very well, she didn't even knock over a single cone. The problems started at the chicane. She stopped the car and I didn't need to know that she was yelling at Max at that moment. I laughed with the rest of the crew. When the car finally started moving again, Rose accidentally knocked over some cones, which resulted in a penalty for her. I knew she wouldn't be happy with her time. Seeing how angry she was while walking away from Max, I burst out laughing.
„It's the last time when I'm in group with him."-Rose said, angry.
Max followed her, laughing. I walked closer to her, wanting to ask what happened.
„This clown said I was the worst driver he had ever seen."
„It wasn't that bad," -I said, gently stroking her back.
„I hate him."
„You know you look cute when you're angry?" -I said jokingly. Rose glared at me. I took a step back with my hands in the air, letting her know that I was innocent of her getting angry. She laughed as I almost fell, tripping over my own feet. I liked hearing her laugh. In this rather short period of time, I really grew to like Rose. I didn't want it to end.
