The root of Nightmares

It was Night hours and everyone was asleep in bed but Spirit was tossing and turning as a voice said her name as if she was trapped in a nightmare

Vivirax:Luna

Spirit wakes up breathing heavily

Spirit:Jack..Jack wake up

Jack wakes up

Jack:hmmm whats wrong Luna?

Spirit:i had a nightmare

Jack:what was the nightmare about Lunie

Spirit tells Jack everything

Jack:right you wait there while i go get Ryan

Jack leaves the room and heads to Ryans room

Jack:sorry Rye

Jack puts his hand on Ryans mouth and drags him to Spirits room

Ryan:mmm mmmmph?

Jack lets go of Ryans mouth

Ryan:what gives Jack!?

Jack:appoligies about that Ryan but Luna has had a nightmare about him again

Ryan:oh him

Jack nods

Neckro appears at the doorway

Neckro:Jack what the hell is going on

Jack:well

Neckro:whyd you randomly abduct Ryan?

Jack:well spirit had a nightmare and i thought Ryan could have the answer

Neckro:i see

Spirit:not saying this to be rude but can you both get out so i can talk to Jack privately please

Neckro:sure come on Ryan

They both get up and leave

Ryan:hope you and your love interest work it out

Jack covers Ryans mouth

Jack:shut...up!!

Jack lets go and Ryan and Neckro leave the room

Neckro:so your believed to know the source of spirits nightmares apparently?

Ryan:yeah it's made by a demon called Vivirax

Neckro:Vivirax?

Ryan:yeah he's a well how do I word it but basically he's able to mess with someone's dreams and make them nightmares

Neckro:I see

Jack comes out

Jack:ok Lunas gone to sleep again but I still can't work out what caused her fear

Ryan:that would be Viviraxs work as he's the only one who can mess with someone's dreams

Jack:and who is Vivirax

Ryan:he's a...well I kinda don't know the name of his species but he is a demon of some kind capable of messing with someone's dreams and making them into Nightmares

Neckro:ok how do you hold that much info?

Ryan:let's say I do studies on it

Neckro:Reasonable

Jack:so how do we deal with this Vivirax?

Ryan:simple we enter Spirits mind and we disconnect him from her

Jack:and how do we do that then

Neckro:if you shut your mouth for a few minutes maybe he can explain

Jack shuts up

Ryan:basically if we use this thing

he pulls out what looks like a digitizer device

Jack:what's that supposed to be?

Ryan:a thing I think?

Neckro:a digitizer zapptoid

Ryan:a what now?

Neckro:a Digitizer Zapptoid a device that can transfer someone into the mind of someone else in our case it would be spirits mind

Jack:and how do you work this thing?

Neckro:I'm getting to that basically I need to aim it at myself and you 2 for us to enter Spirits mind

Ryan:welp better start then

Neckro:Ryan wait we don't know how it-

the device activates and the 3 boys are zapped and sent into Spirits mind

Neckro:nice one Ryan!!

Ryan:oh come on we were going to press the button anyway!!

Jack:ok this is interesting to see if you both have seen it

Ryan and Neckro look and they see what Jack was seeing

Jack:the inside of Lunas mind

Neckro:ok I have to admit this does look quite nice

Ryan:yeah it does

the mindscape was massive and somewhere within was the core of the problem

Ryan:ok so we begin looking then

Jack:definitely

Jack starts running ahead with Ryan and Neckro close behind

Ryan:ok he's fast

Neckro:he's a cat what do you expect

Ryan:no idea

as Jack ran he looked around the whole mindscape and was very fascinated by what he was seeing

Jack:I really need to learn more about this with Luna

they come to where the source is

Neckro:ok now we need to be careful here

Jack:how come?

Neckro:in case Vivirax is in here

Ryan:well something to do with him is and it doesn't seem to like visitors

an apparition of Vivirax appears

Jack:here maybe we can use those beams of light

Neckro:worth a shot

Jack and Neckro reach their beams

Neckro:where's Ryan?

Ryan:HELP!!!

the Apparition had Ryan in its grip

Jack:let him go!!

he shines the light at the apparition and it drops Ryan as he runs to his beam

Neckro:ok 3...2...1!!

all 3 boys shine their beams of light at the apparition and destroys it returning them back to Spirits room as she was able to sleep peacefully now

Jack:ok I'll stay with her now

Jack takes Ryan and Neckro out of the room and closes the door

Ryan:ok so that happened

Neckro:yeah I'm going back to bed

Neckro heads back to his room

Ryan:welp guess I'm doing the same

Ryan heads back into his room and shuts the door
