Chapter 6:"You're my friend"

Halo gays and straight people,I'm surprisingly back with another chapter that doesn't make anyone have an heart attack :D (You guys can thank my gf for that,lol)

Heather's POV:

My pillow feels harder than usual,like REALLY hard for my likeliness,but I don't want to get up right now.

I'm too tired to open my eyes right now and it's not like I have school today,I didn't have any plan to go anyways.

I squeeze the pillow lightly and bury my face on it,something wraps around my waist as I do so and place a kiss on my left ear- Wait...

Ok,this is definitely not my pillow,who is this and why is he or she in my bed?!

My eyes shot open and I stand up all of a sudden,I realise that the person sitting next to me was...nobody?

I rub my eyes quickly and there's just my pillow,maybe I saw wrong?Plus there was no way someone actually got in my house,right?

I shrug this off and I stand up,putting on my black slippers and I head to the kitchen to make some toasts for me and...only me.

God,I wish I had someone to eat those toasts with right now...

I get snapped out of my thoughts by the doorbell,who's here at 6am in the morning?

I groan silently and start to head towards the door,slightly fixing my hair in case it's some kid from school or anyone in general.

I open the door and to my surprise it's Veronica,she's wearing her usual blue blazer and she has some grass on her shoulder.

"Oh,Veronica,hi!What's the visit for?"

I point at the clock on the wall,trying to start a little conversation with her.

She chuckle at my statement and smirk slightly at my comment.

"Well,I was just walking around and thought 'Maybe I could pay a surprise visit to my dear friend' and so I did!"

I giggled at how excited she looked,I'm happy when she's happy.She continued

"I had a movie night with Martha,so sorry I couldn't come since there were thunders"

She looked worried about me,but it felt like she was lying at the same time.She's been off ever since Heather's death,I don't know why.

"Oh,it's fine.I just hugged my pillow and woosh,I fell asleep immediately!"

We both giggled to then fall in a comfortable silence,there's also a strange feeling around the air but I don't understand what it's about...

"Well,care for some toasts?"

I look over at her with my usual smile

"Yes,I'm starving right nowww"

Veronica said jokingly,prolonging the w at the end.

God,she can be so childish sometimes.That's why I lov- like her,I like her as a friend of course,ahah!
