Hybe announced Jungkook's solo world tour and it was pure chaos. Army went wild and tickets were sold out immediately for all his stops. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Texas and Las Vegas were just some of major cities of the tour. Global magazines and endorsements were vying for him even more now.
Bangshit loved all of it. He is the genius after all who picked the band members and presented them to the world. But he knew JK would be different. That kid is indeed golden.
Jungkook was on his flight to the US to start the first leg of his tour and finally had the chance to look at social media.
'Rest in peace, our beloved Yeontan'. JK could not believe his eyes and his heart started racing. Oh my god, he thought. Everything has been so hectic, he didn't know. But Tae hasn't told him either. It was then that he realized he and Tae have not spoken for a while.
JK started calling Tae. The number has been disconnected.
He called Tae's mom but she did not pick up.
He then called Jimin and was told that Tae had actually gone into the military quietly. That's apparently how he wanted it.
'What do you mean he enlisted? He didn't tell me! He didn't tell me about Tannie either!'
Jimin sighed and replied: 'he tried, JK. But you were nowhere to be found.'
Jungkook wept for the loss of Tannie. Tae had him for seven years and he loved that dog like family. That was his baby. His heart broke for Tae....but he can't do anything.
As soon as JK landed in New York, everything was a blur. Rehearsals, pictorials, guestings. The writers' strike ended so it was perfect timing for JK to guest at several shows to promote his tour. Not that he needed any more promotion because tickets are sold out. Jungkook is a certified superstar, despite the mixed reaction to his single 3D.
JK loved the applause, the cheers, the lights. He loved when army chants his name during the shows. Scooterfck called him the new Bieber and that was JK's ultimate dream. Bieber was his ultimate idol after all.
Jungkook was in Vegas tonight, taking in the endless bright lights. He turned the lights off and stared out towards the Bellagio. After the screams have died down, he was alone. His heart started aching. He and Tae had so many memories during the PTD era.
And even though it wasn't legal....they got married in Vegas that night. Hobi was their witness.
