- Huh... so the Iudex called me specially? For business or... what? That man is just full of mysteries, at least he's an easy guy to talk to.

The Duke slowly made his way out of the Fortress of Meropide, an umbrella in his hand as he had heard some of the Gardes saying it was raining outside.

- Must be something serious if he's... surely he's not crying. Does it rain only when he's crying or other strong feelings? Jeez! He told me basically nothing!

Soon, he was around the back of the Opera Epiclese. Wriothesley knew that he wouldn't have any trials today, so it was more likely for him to be in his office back in the Court of Fontaine. He let out a sigh as he put up his umbrella, knowing that it would take a while for him to get there, he could do nothing but hope that the rain wouldn't continue to grow heavier.

Wriothesley had known that Neuvillette was the Hydro Sovereign for a while now, although it did take him a while to accept it and properly understand. He was aware of the fact when he would be upset, it would start to pour with rain. Hearing children on the streets of Fontaine shouting 'Hydro dragon, hydro dragon, don't cry!' could honestly do nothing other than warm his heart.

As Wriothesley began to approach the entrance of Palais Mermonia, he noticed a very familiar figure. His cold, white hair and oceanic clothing starting to get drenched from the pouring rain. The tall figure was gazing out at the city, arms folded close to his chest.

"Hey, Chief, what are you doing out here?" He went over to the Iudex, standing beside him and shielding him from the rain with his umbrella, "I'm not disturbing anything, am I?"

"No, no, of course not, Wriothesley," Neuvillette answered the Duke.

"You say that but... it definitely looks like I did," He claimed, noticing his still distressed expression, "So are you gonna tell me why it's raining?"

He expressed a sigh, "Nothing, to your concern," He looked up at the umbrella above him, "Ah.. my thanks.." He said quietly and politely.

"Anything for the Chief Justice," Wriothesley smiled and took his hand in his own, softly kissing it as a kind gesture.

"Oh please, no need to be so formal, 'Your Grace'," Neuvillette let out a slight chuckle.

"Alright, alright you got me," The duke laughed and slung an arm around his shoulder, "Let's get you inside, you're drenched in rain. Maybe I could make us some tea, hm?"

"If you wanted tea that badly you could have just said so..."

"You're just like Clorinde, y'know that?"

Before Wriothesley finally set foot inside Palais Mermonia, he looked back at the streets of Fontaine from the balcony. He noticed that the skies were a little more clear than before, although the rain hadn't stopped completely. He smiled to himself.

- The Chief Justice really does have a soft spot, huh?...

"Are you coming, Wriothesley?" Neuvillette turned back to him.

"Oh right, sorry, Neuvillette," He walked away from the balcony and back towards the Iudex, placing a hand on his shoulder again.
