8. Awkward

Yeonjun's POV

I woke up in the morning with Starie still sleeping on my lap. I slowly place her head on the pillow and get out of the room.

I brush my teeth and go to the dining hall and my mom smiles at me cheekily while setting up the table. I'm confused...

"What happened?", I ask my mom.

"Starie is DEFINITELY only your friend", mom says chuckling.

"What?"

"I mean, she was sleeping on your lap, son", my mom tells me.

"Mom! It's nothing like that okay?!", I yell at mom. My cheeks burnt.

My mom just chuckles.

Starie walks out of the room, rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning Starie!", my mom wishes her. Starie just bows with her droopy eyes.

"Go brush your teeth. Let's have breakfast", I say and Starie nods. She walks to the bathroom like a penguin.

We start breakfast as soon as Starie sat down. It was orange juice and fluffy riceballs.

Starie's POV

I was peacefully eating food. It was kind of awkward but I don't care what situation it is when it comes to food.

A sudden question from Mrs. Choi. made me choke on my rice balls. She asked me, "How long have you guys been dating?".

Yeonjun pats my head because I choked. His gesture made me blush. I soon stopped choking.

The rest of the breakfast was very awkward. Even for a person like me.
