Chapter II - Acarophobia

It was 6:30 p.m. After 30 mins I will be allowed to play the second level. Should I really play that cursed game? It felt so real... The room, The feeling, The fear.

I didn't do anything the whole day. I was overthinking the same thing. Not a drop of water entered my mouth. What was I overthinking? Well, About the game. As I said, It felt so real...Too real to be fake. The TV suddenly made a kind of victory siren and continued saying "Yay! Click 'Play' to continue playing Level II - Acarophobia!"

I flinched at the sudden noise. "Acaro..phobia? what does that mean? Fear of life?" I thought. There might even be a dumb phobia like that. Nevertheless, I was scared to play that game again. But curiosity got the best of me.

I clicked play. I had to.

"AAA! My elbow!" I screamed as I hurt my elbow. I looked around. It was a brightly lit room. Better than the red-lit room in level I. The voice again came and said "Hello Miss Anita Williams. Welcome back! Face your fear to pass and escape this room! You know the rules! Good luck!"

Great. I am now a girl named Anita with....red hair! I always wanted red hair! Plus it's not dyed hair! I am rare!!! Well, my happiness was shattered when I saw insects that can make you itch. Mosquitoes. I screamed at the top of my lungs. Well, that's not me. As you know it's Anita. Looks like she is scared of mosquitos. There was a Mosquito racket. I knew what I had to do. Kill them.

But...I didn't have to run to those mosquitos and kill them. Well, I think they had some kind of death wish because they came near me. With that racket, I swung that near my face, killing I-don't-know-how-many-mosquitos. "Good work, Anita," I said to myself. I then ran around the room screaming at the top of my lungs, Killing hundreds of thousands of mosquitos. Some bit me and it was itching. I hated it more than I was scared of it. I was supposed to hate it.

Lastly, One fat mosquito was flying around the room. I couldn't catch that guy. Big fat dork. After I don't know how long of running, I tripped and fell on the mosquito, obviously squashing it to death.

Finally, the exit door opened. I dropped the racket and ran to the door. And fell. In the near distance, I heard the voice say "See you again, Wyllow!"

I blacked out. Then found myself in my room. 3 AM in the morning. I was chasing mosquitos for *counts* 8 hours?! What?!

I couldn't think anymore. I was tired. Words can't express how tired I am. The TV showed the countdown "16hrs and 1min".

"Whew! Goodnight" I told to myself. I fell asleep.

Who knows how bad 'Level III' be?
