𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄; 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬

Chapter Uno

Liliana Rodriguez, a young adult who works two jobs, yes two. She worked at Ted Kords place, now owned by his sister. The only reason why she wanted to work there is because her childhood friend was there, Jennifer Kord, or Jenny for short. When Victoria took over, it was a more strict place to work at, if you were a minute late you would get fired, luckily she was Jenny's assistance so she couldn't fire Liliana due to Jenny telling her no.

The other job she worked at was a small cafe where they serve food to people. She took this job for extra money for rent and to buy food for herself, the cafe wasn't the best place to work mainly because of rude people going there.

Liliana walked to a table to give them their bill, it was a family of six. They all spoke in Spanish to each other "here's your bill" Liliana put the white paper on the table, she waited as they spoke it out. "27 dollars? How will we afford that?" A woman with a red dress asked the older man that sat near her "I don't know, amor." He looked at his wife "this is stupid" A man with a long beard banged his hand on the brown table.

"is there something wrong?" Liliana asked them "yeah uh- we can't afford it." Liliana nodded slowly "I see.." she trailed off "don't worry, we'll pay it back sometime" A young man said, he had fluffy black hair, tanned skin and a bright yellow shirt on. "No- no it's fine. I'll buy it for you" Liliana took out her pink wallet and got out 27 dollars "Holy shit!" A woman with big glasses said, she was surprised.

"Oh, no you don't have to do that" The one with the red dress put her hand on top of Liliana, trying to stop her from her generous offer.  "It's fine, I like helping people."She gave a sweet smile "Liar! You just want to show off your money you culo!" The beard guy yelled, he did not believe what was happening.

"No sir, that's not what i'm doing at all!" Liliana argued  back, she just wanted to help a struggling family. "Sure- we could've paid it ourselves." he fought back "uh- look i'm going to pay for it either way, I don't care if you don't like it. Now, I will see myself out." She put her wallet back in her small pocket and walked away, she brushed her clothes with her hands.

"Hey" She felt a hand on her shoulder "Look I'm sorry for my uncle... hes a bit cranky." the one with fluffy dark hair told Liliana "yeah I can see that" She laughed as she put a glass cup down on the counter "I just came here to say we're all sorry" He smiled at her.

"It's fine, I've dealt with a lot of rude customers." Liliana turned to look at the man "look, I heard you were struggling. I may have a job open for you" His eyes looked like it got bright, his mouth was upward in a smile "really? what is it?" He asked fast, excited "it's not that exciting, uh, you scrub gum off underneath a table" His smile went down "oh"

"I know it sounds bad but it can put some money in your pocket at least." His nodded his head, his black hair moving slightly "Alright yeah, sound good." He nodded slowly, he was unsure whether it was a good or bad idea. "give me your phone so I can text you the details." He handed his black phone to her, his cheeks grew pink as he stared at Liliana typing her number in 

"And... there" she gave his phone back "What's your name?" She asked him "Uh- my name? It's Jaime Reyes." He said, he phone slipped out of his hand but luckily he caught it "I think I may call you butter hands" She joked, he laughed at it "Well, i'll see you around hopefully."  Jaime nodded his head "definitely."  He smiled widely "Yo Jaime stop flirting!" The same one with the big glasses yelled "I'M NOT!" Jaime yelled back, "I think she needs you" Liliana laughed "She does, uh bye now" Jaime waved a little than ran off.

Liliana Rodriguez we need to talk" The manger cleared his throat "coming sir" They walked to a private area where no one was around "you're fired." The manager told her "Fired? Why am I fired?" Liliana's whole mood changed, from excitement to disappointment. 

"Because I saw what you did to that huge family, giving them your money. I'm not blind." Liliana rolled her blue eyes "And? They needed help" She crossed her arms over her chest "That's against our policy. You already got warned two times for doing that! It's like you don't listen." Liliana looked down at the rocky floor then back up "I do listen." she tapped her boot on the ground "Clearly you don't, you're fired. Why are you even mad? You have another job." The manager scoffed "Maybe because this job isn't as strict? you know you've always been a bad manager anyways." 

The manager let out a chuckle "well bye then!" he waved his hand in her face "bitch." She cursed under her breath.
