Genesis 1:1- In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.
Amy walked through the school corridors, her gold and purple Bible in her hands and her head was buried in that same bible. She was so engrossed that she did not notice the dirty looks that people were throwing at her, not that she cared, but...
Her face had an animated expression and her eyes turned left and right, careful reading along the lines.
The letters that Paul had sent to the various churches made her laugh so much that she really could not take it anymore. She wondered what it would be like if Paul suddenly awoke from the dead and started mailing different latters to churches.
It would be very funny to see how he would figure out how to use the technologies that has reached the whole world. Paul would surely grumble about how hard it would be.
"Hey, Amy! How are you?" One of Amy's good friends, Amara walked up to her, she also had a BIble in her hands, however, her Bible is pink.
"Hi, Amara. I'm fine and you?" Amy chuckled upon seeing Amara's excited face.
"I'm okay~~" Amara replied in a sing song voice and Amy asked, "What's the good news? Spill it." She knew that Amara spoke like this whenever she was excited.
"Glad you finally asked! Well, you know I told you that my church was debating on going to camp after school vacates, right?"
"Yeah. Wait... Don't tell me camp has finally been fixed?" Amy asked excitedly.
"Yup! Guess what? Christian is going too, he told me that he'll be there! So I have finally killed two birds with one stone! My church will be holding the camp after school vacates and my crush would be there as well! It's a double kill!"
Amy and Amara has been friends ever since they were kids and Amara was actually the one who changed Amy into the Jesus loving girl that she is now. Only God knows the amount of work that Amara put in Amy's life.
"You go girl... Ugh... I don't know when my church is gonna hold camp again. The last time they did something like that was when I was writing my second semester exams and I almost missed it. Since then, we haven't held one."
"Freak!" Someone muttered to Amy and Amara as they passed but the two girls paid no heed. They just overlooked their words.
"Well..." As soon as Amara wanted to reply to Amy's words, the bell rung and Amara groaned.
"I'm having classes right now and it's Mrs Silvia so I don't want to be late! See ya later, Amy! Don't forget that we have Bible study tonight!"
"Okay! Enjoy your classes and don't zone out!" Amy yelled back as Amara's silhouette disappeared. She sighed and headed to the garden, keeping her Bible inside her bag.
As she passed by, she encountered more looks and people started to murmur until she sat alone at a corner. Her blue long skirt fluttered around in the wind and she removed her glasses, letting the strands of her hair frame her face.
Amy leaned on the boulder and closed her eyes, silently basking in the mild sunlight.
Twenty year old Amy Williams, a former loose woman and one of the most popular girls in the school. Back then, she was popular due to people knowing how well she slept around and also took drugs and now, she is popular due to her new life.
Amy is a very beautiful girl, she has green eyes and ginger red hair. Freckles lined up around her face and her slightly tanned skin shone when it was hit by the sunlight.
So tall that she could be a model, Amy was truly a beautiful woman. So beautiful that she pulled both men and women left and right.
However, due to her faith, she was being treated like a plague by most of her classmates.
As Amy rested, the sunlight was suddenl blocked from her face and Amy slowly opened her eyes to see who it was. To her utter annoyance, it was Hailey, one of the popular girls who hated her so much that she would do everything she could to make Amy's life miserable.
"What do you want, Hailey?" Amy asked, her half lidded eyes looked a bit tired and sleepy. She had been reading throughout the night so she was a tired.
"Isn't your sky daddy around here? Where is he?" Hailey questioned and the other two girls that were standing behind her laughed at her comments.
Amy stretched and moved her hands behind her neck to itch the spot that she had been trying to reach. When she finished, she blinked and sighed, "Hailey, I really don't have the strength to deal with you right now. I'm seriously sleepy so would you mind leaving this until tomorrow? Or better still, not come to me at all?"
Hailey snorted and moved closer towards Amy, they were so close that Any could feel her breath on her cheeks. Startled, Amy shifted back and because of her sudden movements, she almost fell towards the other side of the pavement, where she was sitting on.
Quickly holding on to the boulder, Amy balanced herself and stood up, her green eyes glancing at Hailey who pouted.
"I was waiting for you to fall. Pity that you didn't, maybe I'll try next time."
Amy exhaled deeply, silently praying and begging her mouth not to start saying things that she should not say. For her, cursing was still a huge problem.
"Okay, Hailey... I'll say this just one last time. I definitely don't appreciate you coming into my space like that and I won't tolerate you bullying me."
"Awwww... But I thought that your sky daddy taught you to always be tolerant of whatever people do to you and forgive them. Aren't you going to forgive me for what I did?" Hailey licked her lips and grinned, waiting for Amy to respond.
Amy's eyes narrowed, "Don't try to use that against me. I will fight back if it is needed, the Bible does not advocate total pacifism when life is concerned."
