Pernico After Tartarus

Finding Nico

It took about 15 minutes for Skylar to calm down enough to talk and plan with Percy.

"We will use the radios. Keep the earpiece in your ear until you find him. Once you find him tell him to close his eyes and take deep breaths, once you say that, set the tent up. All of the furniture will look small. The tent has a switch and labels for all the furniture. Put the furniture where the labels are, once there flip the switch. The tent has lights, but the lights won't go on until you flip the switch. The switch will turn on the lights and make the furniture go full size. DO NOT TURN THE LIGHTS ON UNTIL ALL THE FURNITURE IS IN PLACE. Then you have to keep me posted on how he's doing everyday. Take the phone that Leo made so you know the time and date." Skylar explained, holding back tears. Percy got what he needed and got himself ready. Skylar walked him down to the doors that lead to the staircase to Tartarus.

"These radios will work no matter how far away you are. I can be in Camp Half-Blood and be able to hear you loud and clear. Keep me posted and save my brother. Remember what I told you about his crush on you. Tell him I told you and tell him that I'll be waiting for him." Skylar explained as she watched Percy go through the clear doors and start going down the stairs. It was about 1:30 p.m. when Percy went through the doors. Percy and Skylar talked while Percy looked for Nico. After about six and half hours (8 p.m.), Percy found him.

"Skylar, I FOUND HIM," Percy explained excitedly in a whisper volume. Percy went over to him.

"Nico, hey. It's me, Percy. I need you to do me a favor. Okay?" Percy asked calmly. Nico nodded his head, "I need you to lose your eyes and take deep breaths okay?" Percy told him and he saw Nico close his eyes. Nico was sobbing trying to take deep breaths. Soon he was able to take deep calming breaths.

About an hour later, Percy went over to Nico, "Nico, open your eyes, okay?" Percy told him. Nico opened them and saw the tent. He got up and walked/ran the best he could inside the tent. Percy followed Nico inside. As soon as Nico was inside, he went to one of the beds and fell asleep for the night.

*****Author's Note: The next parts of this chapter are going to be organized by day. Each part will say the day number that Percy and Nico are in Tartarus (I will skip days because I don't want to bore you all with 7 sections days 7 days)*****

Day 1 (After Nico wakes up in the tent)

"P-Percy?? What are you doing here??" Nico asked once he woke up.

"I'm here to help you. You're in Tartarus." Percy explained. As soon as Percy said that they were in Tartarus, Nico's face went white and he started crying because he knew Skylar was terrified.

Percy told Nico to take some deep breaths while he made a radio call.

"Skylar, I just told Nico that he's in Tartarus and he's crying because he knows that you're terrified. What should I do?" Percy asked.

"Percy, take the earpiece out of the radio for a little bit so that I can talk to my brother," Skylar told him. Percy took the earpiece out, when he did, he told her.

"Okay, now I need you to go and get Nico so that I can talk to him. I know that if he hears my voice he'll feel better. Percy, don't bother telling him about what I told you to tell him earlier." She explained. Percy went over to Nico and told him that he had a radio call.

"Nico, I know you're scared, but don't worry you're okay. Percy's going to stay until you're ready to come back to the underworld. Nico, don't be mad; I told Percy that you have a crush on him. I know you told me not to tell him, but I had to because I knew that it would help him. Nico, Percy was there for me yesterday when I found out you were in Tartarus. He will be there for you no matter what. I love you, and stay strong," Skylar told her brother. Nico looked away from Percy blushing. Percy went over and gave Nico a comforting hug.
