Sirius is nervous. Genuinely nervous. He doesn't mind lily , it's not that . It's just that .. well...
He never met Remus but when lily described him a few brief times he sounded Like he didn't like them very much. Apparently he used to go to high school with him , prongs and... you know who .
Ugh Sirius doesn't understand why he can't say his name anymore when he used to say it with ease and a smile on his face .
A knock on his bedrooms door snaps him out of his thoughts .
"Come in!" He yells , untying a knot in his throat he doesn't remember being there two minutes ago.
"Hey pads ! You ready ?" James says with the same cheerful attitude he has always had since they were kids .
"Yeah I'm ready, where are we meeting them again?"
"This place called the leaky cauldron ? Seems cool , it's like a cafe , apparently there famous for a drink called butter beer . Me and Lils are gonna try it ."
Lils? Sirius thinks
"Hey. I didn't know you and lily already gave each other nicknames?" He says as he touches up his eyeliner
"Oh yeah, apparently Remus calls her that so I started day that aswell"
Sirius freezes . It can't be .. can it?
He pushes his thought into the back of his brain and starts head out the door along with James .
This is gonna be interesting .
