Chapter 5
I woke up to the thin strips of sunlight leaked through the white slits of blinds.
It's my first time woking up by myself. Maybe because of what happened yesterday. It's still fresh in my mind and i just can't forget about it. Definitely, one of the most memorable moments in my life.

I tried to sneak peek at the room of mom and dad and they're still sleeping. So, i decided to make a breakfast just for them. Yay! It's my first time preparing breakfast for them.
"Good morning! Rise and shine!" I said blithely to no one in particular.
I hurriedly walk down stairs, brush my teeth, wash my face, tied my hair and wear an apron. Ready to cook.
What a good way to start your day, Venice!

After how many minutes of cooking, I suddenly hear a footsteps. Mom and Dad, Maybe?

"Wow, it's odd, baby" My mom said in awe. Her hair is still tousle maybe because she heard something's happening in the kitchen that's why she decided to go downstairs.
"Good Morning Mom and Dad! Here, have a seat!" I assist mom and dad to their seats and the look on their faces are still puzzled as ever.
"Why don't you wake up your sister and brother now so they can see how you're acting differently" my dad said giddily while rubbing the back of his neck.
"That's a good idea, dad! Wait i'll be right back" i said gleefully and hurriedly ran upstairs and shout "Don't you lay your hands on the food yet!"

I go to my older sister room, i knock thrice but no ones answering. I open the door and saw Angela still asleep.
"Good morning my lovely sister, Angela!" Still, no ones answering because she's still asleep as ever.
I feel like me and Angela switch places. I realize that it's better to be on Angela's position so you can think of any ploy to do with her.
My ploy for this day is to jump at her bed! Great, idea!
I jump up and down at her bed and with that she starts to moan.
"Are you awake now?" I ask while removing her blanket that covers her body.
She half-open his eyes and immediately close it. In just a second, she open it again widely as if she saw a ghost.
"Venice?!" She ask just to make sure that i am not just her imagination.
She rub her eyes and blink his eyes for who know how many times.
I nodded.
"For real? What happened to you? Are you sick?" She bummed me with questions.
"Easy, Angela! I'll explain it to you later but for now, get up and join mom and dad for breakfast." I push angela to the bathroom.
"Ciao" I bid goodbye to angela and shut the door.
This time, i go to the Gerard's,my older brother's.
I again knock thrice but this time someone open it.
I see Elly -gerard's wife- still in her pj's. She looked shock by my appearance but just shrug it off anyway.
"Good morning, Elly!" I shout and hug her very tight. I can see in her eyes that she got shock by my sudden gesture.
"A lovely morning it is huh" Elly said sweetly and return the hug.
"Why don't you wake up Gerard and Kellie? They sleeping hard." Elly said while she motioned me to come in to their room.
Kellie is their daughter. She is 2 year old sweet child.
When i enter their room. I see Kellie still asleep in her own crib while Gerard is also still asleep, his snore is invading the room. It's a good thing that Kellie didn't woke by her daddy's snore.
"Gerard, wake up now or you'll be late!" I (shout) and start shaking his body like there's no tomorrow.
He immediately stand up after he sees my presence.
"What?!" He grimaced at me, his eyes is wide as ever and (hurriedly) go to bathroom.
Me and Elly stare at each other for like 5 seconds and we both laugh out loud as my stomach starts to hurt because of laughing.
Gerard come out of the bathroom with a towel covering half of his body. He raise his eyebrow as if asking us what's the commotion is all about
"Truce!" I said out loud still laughing.
"You always play a trick on me so now it's my turn" i said as i stick out my tongue to him.
He just glared at me for how it felt like ages. Elly decided to break the glaring contest between me and Gerard.
"Okay, that's enough, you two! Venice just go downstairs and we'll come right after you" said Elly between her giggles, trying not to burst out from laughter.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Just then, Kellie's voice just came out of nowhere.
I look beside me just to see the most beautiful-est, cutest, adorable-st baby in the whole wide world.
"Kellie, come on, give Auntie Venice the sweetest kiss." I go near Kellie's crib and half-bended my knees so that Kellie can reach me. I motion Kellie to kiss me in the lips and Kellie being the sweetest child in the world did what i told her to do.
"Wow, thanks for the sweet kiss, Kellie my love!" I cooed to her. She giggled.
I turned to Gerard who is still in shock. I try not to laugh at what i'm seeing.
"Gerard, can you please get dressed? I am not liking the view." I said to him firmly as if i am serious. Gerard gave me his known glare and ready to attack me. I straighten up and speak "Ciao everyone. I'll see you downstairs." I clapped and hurriedly went downstairs before Gerard can come after me.
