Reece Walsh pov:

Lilith is so nervous for this game, but I don't understand why, it isn't like its her first time playing rugby.

"sup with you?" Tommy asked, face must have looked puzzled.

I sat down on an available seat, "Lil, she's worried about playing today, I don't understand.." I said slouching in the couch.

"seriously?" Adam asked.

"what?" I was so puzzled.

"it's her first time playing a proper game, in Australia. she's bound to be nervous. she's doing new plays, playing with new people and playing infront of a larger crowd." Tommy said to me.

I nodded my head.. ohhhhhh.. "I get it now."

"what's there to get?" Ezra said walking into the room.

"Reece didn't understand why Lily was so nervous to play today." Jesse said.

I didn't even realise everyone was here.

Ezra just shook his head and came and sat next to me.

"how are you and Lilith anyways?" Ezra asked me.

"what do you mean by that?" I asked, I sat up properly.

"like... are yous together yet? or.. are yous just like best mates." Ezra asked me, I looked up for a moment as my head was down and everyone was walking at me, clearly wanting to know more.

For fuck sake.

"i-uhm.. just mates." I said sitting up properly.

"yeah, but you want to me more." Riki said with a smirk on his face.

I just put my head down as I could feel my face warm up.

"what's wrong Reece?" Kotoni asked.

"it's just.. I like her.. like a lot, but I don't know if she even likes me in the slightest bit and it's just like, what if I was to tell her. Boom relationship gone." I said looking in the air.

"well..." Adam started, "a little birdie told me, that she does like you.." Adam said walking up and then leaving the room.

"oooooooo" I hate this team, that was a lie.

"and how would you know ?" I asked raising my eyebrows, "like i've said before, shes only 19" I finished.

"and? you had a full on child at 19." Kotoni said.

(someone put this in my comments a few chapters back and i proper pissed myself😭)

I just stayed silence, Lily is just one of those people you want to know more about. There's something about her that is so intriguing.

Lilith May pov:

I am shitting it.

"you okay?" Destiny asked.

"honestly..." I started, "no I am not I am shitting bricks like.. bricks are being shat. AND THATS NOT NORMAL." I said raising my voice a bit at the end.

She just laughed at me and helped me up, so we walk out to start training on the pitch.

"i'll be fine.." I mumbled to myself.

On the pitch people cheered for us, it was quite nice, the crowds weren't that big back in England. But here.. it's something else it's a massive crowd.

I didn't actually know where'd i'd be playing, so I went over to coach and I noticed all the mens team sat behind them all.

"coach?" I asked.
