16. Jealousy?

Avery's Pov:                     Date/Time: October 13 6:00am
Its Wednesday! Today was an early release so that means we would get out of school earlier. Today i would leave at 12:00. I don't have practice today either so im thinking to chill for the rest of the day after school. I woke up from my alarm. I turned it off and got out of bed. I then went downstairs and make myself toast for breakfast. After I ate. I went back upstairs to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my skincare. I then changed into something casual. Today's weather is gonna be chilly and cloudy.
Avery's outfit:

I didn't do any makeup today because I wasn't feeling it. I let my hair down and brushed it. I put gold jewelry on. I put on perfume and got my bag ready. I grabbed my bag and other stuff, i opened my blinds real quick and i then walked out my bedroom. I went downstairs to the front door. I walked out closing and locking the door behind me. I walked to Jaden's car and got in the passenger seat. "Good morning" Jaden said with a smile. "Good morning J" I say looking at him with a smile. "Do you have volleyball practice after school today?" Jaden asks me while getting out of the driveway. "Nope. Do you have baseball today?" I say. "No. Wanna come over after school? Your brothers can also come if they want." Jaden asks. "Yeah! I'll ask them once I leave the school building." I say. He nods smiling. On the way to school, we jam out to music.

Jaden's Pov:
It was 3rd period before lunch. I was sitting with my friends just talking. Avery was across the classroom with Savannah and some other girls just talking. The bell then rang and class started. "Ok class, today you guys are gonna be doing partner work." The teacher speaks. I was so excited when I heard that, i could ask Avery if she wants to work with me. I got excited a little too soon. "But i'll be choosing the partners." The teacher adds. Great.  She explained what we had to do and then started pairing up people. "Jaden and Kyle." The teacher saids. Kyle is chill but not the smartest. I would love to be working with Avery. "And lastly Avery and Louis." The teacher saids. Oh yay. She got partnered up with a boy. That isn't me. After a while, i couldn't stop looking at them together laughing. What was so funny? Avery better not fall for him. Am I jealous? No. I can't be. "Jaden? Jaden. Jaden!" Kyle was calling me. I then got out my thoughts. "Sorry what?" I say turning to him. "You good?" He asks me. "Oh yeah! I just spaced out." I say. "Right ok." Kyle saids. "Lets continue working." I say. I decided to stop wasting on my time on looking at and just do my assignment.
Skip time to lunch: Avery's Pov
Me and Kaylen were walking to our lunch table. Brian and Jaden were already there. I sat across from Jaden and Kaylen across from Brian. Jaden seemed kind of upset. "Are you ok? You seem kind of upset." I confront him. "Yeah im fine." He saids. I knew he was lying. I felt like if I begged for him to tell me the truth then I would become kind of annoying so I just nodded and continued talking to Kaylen.
Skip time to the end of the day: 12:00
I was walking out the school building and walked to Jaden's car. I got in the passenger seat and he came in after me. He didn't say a word. I kind of started to overthink. Did I do something wrong? Is he still up for Saturday? Do i still go over to his house? The whole car ride was silent. We got home. "Are you gonna come in?" Jaden finally speaks. "Yeah." I say. He pulls in the driveway. We then get out the car and he opens the front door. He walks in and just goes upstairs. "Jayla!" He yells walking up the stairs. "Avery is here!" He saids and goes to his room and leaves me downstairs. He definitely is upset with me. He isn't usually like this. "Hey Aves!" Jayla saids running down the stairs. "Hey." I say and hug her. "Did Jaden just leave you here?" Jayla asks as we break the hug. "Yeah. I think he is upset with me and I don't why." I say. "Ohh." She nods. "Lets forget about it and have some fun." She saids. I smile and nod. "Nick is coming by the way." I say going upstairs to her room with her. "Cool!" She saids. We walk in closing the door behind us. I started to overthink again. "Did I do something wrong? Like he can tell me!" I say laying on Jayla's bed staring at the ceiling. "You should talk to him." Jayla saids as she's posing in the mirror. Maybe I should. "You're right." I say and get up. "Im gonna go to his bedroom and have him tell me whats wrong because it's killing me inside." I say. "You go girl!" Jayla hypes me up. I smile as I walk out her bedroom. I knock on Jaden's door. I hear footsteps from inside. He opens the door. "Oh hey. Whats up?" He saids. "To talk" I say. "Uh sure. Come in." He lets me in his room. "So what do you want to talk about?" He asks. I sit on his bed next to him. "Did I do something wrong? After 3rd period today you have been looking upset and distant. But you weren't this morning. So tell me whats up." I say. "You really don't know?" Jaden asks me. I shook my head no. "You didn't do anything wrong, Today in 3rd period when I saw you and Louis all laughing, it kind of made me upset." Jaden explains. "Why would you get upset?" I ask him. "Because I was kind of afraid you were gonna fall for him." he mutters quickly but i couldn't hear. "Im sorry what." I ask him. "I was afraid you were gonna fall for him Avery." He saids loud and clearly. "Aww you're cute. I wouldn't fall for him." I say as I hug him. "Really?" He asks me. "Mhm. Plus he's gay and not even attractive." I say. "Mm ok. Im better now." He saids breaking the hug and looking at me with a smile. I giggle. "You know..you're cuter when you get jealous." I say. "Really?" He asks. "Mhm" I smile nodding. "I don't think i can stand you being mad at me. You being upset today started killing me inside." I say. He doesn't say anything and hugs me. "Do you wanna go to Jayla's room?" I ask him. "Yeah!" He saids. We get up and leave his room to Jayla's. "Heyy" I say coming in. "So are yall good now?" Jayla asks. "We always were." Jaden saids and I smile. I then spotted Nick. "Hey pretty!" Nick saids coming up to me and hugging me. "Hey Nick! Wheres Chris and Matt?" I ask him. "They went to explore town for a bit but they'll come back with dinner" I nod. "We should get boba." Jaden suggests. "Ummm YES!" Me and Jayla say in sync. We quickly get out of Jayla's bedroom and run downstairs, Jayla gets her car keys. We go to the driveway and get in the car. Jayla is driving. Nick is in the front passenger seat. Me and Jaden are in the back. "Lets go live." Jayla saids setting up her phone to go live. "Sure" Nick saids. She gets on live on instagram and people immediately start joining. I go on my phone and join the live as well to see the comments. Jayla starts to get out the driveway. Me and Jaden answer some questions. "Are you guys dating? No we're not." I answer. "Not yet." Jaden mutters only for me to hear and I roll my eyes playfully. "Where are we going? We're going out for some boba." Jaden answers. "Who's voice is singing. Its Nick. Jayla gave him the aux and now he's vibing." I giggle. We answer a few more questions and we get to the boba place. Jayla parks and we stay on the live. We go inside the boba place and order it. Well me and Jaden find a table to sit at. We sit next to each other and answer questions as we're waiting for Jayla and Nick to get our boba. "Is Javon with y'all? No he's not here." Jaden answers. Jayla and Nick then come and sit across from us with out boba. We soon end the live and say goodbye. We enjoy our boba and talk. "I wonder how its going for Javon in California." I say. "I was on a call with him this morning and he was getting ready to hang out with Coco at a bowling alley." Jayla saids. "Good for him." Nick saids and we nod in agreement. We then finished our boba. We threw out our trash and went back to the car. "We have to go pick up Daelo real quick." Jayla saids exiting the parking lot. "Where even is he?" I ask. "His friend Josh's house. I let him stay there after school for a bit." Jayla saids and I nod. We then were on our way to pick up Daelo. On the way, we played SZA and jammed to her music. Jaden wasn't a big fan so he didn't know the lyrics. We finally got to the boys's house. Jayla parked the car and got out and knocked on the front door. Me Nick Jaden just stayed inside the car. Jayla then came back holding Daelo's hand. I opened the door on my side so he can get in. "Hey Daelo!" I say. "Hey Aves!" He saids hugging me. I hug him back and he gets in the middle seat. I get in after him and close the door. "Hey Jaden, Hi Nick!" Daelo saids. "Hey buddy!" Nick saids. "Hey mumps." Jaden saids. "Daelo, put on your seatbelt." Jayla saids starting to drive. He nods and puts his seatbelt. We ask him about his day and school. We then finally arrive home.
9:30pm
Me and Nick were still at the Waltons playing games and talking. Nick then gets a text on his phone. "Aves, we have to go. Matt and Chris arrived home." he saids checking his phone. "Ohh ok!" I say. We get up and start saying bye to everyone. "Bye Jayla!" I say hugging her. "Bye girl!" She hugs me back. After we break the hug. "Bye mumps!" I hug him. "Bye Aves!" He hugs me back. He's so cute. "Bye Avery! I can't wait for what you have planned for Saturday." Jaden whispers in my ear as he hugs me. "Me too." I smile as we break the hug. Me and Nick then leave and walk to our house. We walk in to the kitchen and see Matt on his Pokemon of course. "Oh hey guys! The food is there on the counter." He saids not taking his eyes off his phone. "Thanks. Where's Chris?" Nick asks. "In the bathroom." Matt saids. "Ok" I say. Me and Nick get our food and start eating. "Matt get off the game for gods sake." Nick saids. "No." Matt saids. "Matt!" Nick yells. Nick stands up and grabs Matts phone and throws it landing safe on the couch. "What the fuck Nick!" Matt yells. "Oops my bad. It didn't do any damage now suck it up." Nick yells. I laugh. Matt rolls his eyes and starts to eat. Chris then walks in. "Hey Chris." Nick saids. "Hey. Hey Aves." Chris saids getting his food. "Heyy" I say. He notices Matts pissed face. "Whats with him?" Chris asks. "Nick threw his phone across the room." I say. "Ahhh." Chris nods. We all eat our food. "Thanks for the food. Im gonna get ready for bed. Goodnight. Love you guys." I say running up the stairs. "Goodnight Aves." They all say in sync. I go up to my room. I close the door behind me. I go to my bathroom and take a shower. I change into my pjs and do my skincare and brush my teeth

I then walk out my bathroom and go over to my window and close the blinds. I go to my bed and put my phone to charge. I lay in bed and turn off my lights. I then go to sleep.
