BEEP BEEP BEEP
"SAM YOUR ALARMS GONE OFF, TIME TO GET UP AND GET READY FOR YOUR FIRST DAY AT SECONDARY SCHOOL"

Sam rubbed his eyes as he arose out of bed.
Today was the day he had been fearing. He was so scared to go to a new school where he knew nobody. Everyone would be starting secondary school with their friend groups from primary school and Sam feared he'd be a loner.

Sam got up, brushed his teeth and ran himself a shower. When he got out, his mum had laid out it school uniform on his bed. He put on his blazer and his mum helped him with his tie. He went to sit down for breakfast as he mentally prepared himself for his the long day ahead.

"You cannot go to school without your hair brushed" blurted his mum
Sam's mum ragged her pink hairbrush through Sam's brown hair which fell down to his back.

His mum dropped him off at his new school and wished him a good day.

Worksop Academy is plastered in huge writing on the school building. It is huge. Sam looked like a deer in headlights as he walked through the school yard into the building as hundreds of pupils were stood around chatting.

As Sam was handed his lesson timetable, he had to search the school for the classrooms on his own as he had no friends. Many lessons had passed and Sam was feeling lonely as he was too shy to talk to anyone.

The last lesson of the day was Maths and Sam was running late. By the time he got to the classroom, all the seats had been taken apart from one. He looked over at the girl sat next to the empty seat, she appeared quite shy herself but she was absolutely gorgeous. She had beautiful blonde hair which was tied up into space buns. Sam had butterflies in his stomach as he pulled out the chair and sat down.

"Hi I'm Leah, nice to meet you"
"Hi I'm Sam"
Throughout the lesson Sam and Leah chatted away and really got on very well.

After telling Leah he had recently moved to the city and hadn't got any friends, Leah invited Sam over to her house for dinner later on in the day to hang out.
