Jimin looked at the gun with his fearful eyes "You were murdered with this gun? that's why you became a spirit?" He asked but there is a hint of sadness in his voice…He picked the gun and ran back to his companions... "Professor... I found this gun... We need to find out who this belongs too... I am sure that person is the murderer" Jungkook immediately hugged his best friend... He is happy that they got a clue but knowing Jimin is all safe and sound is his greatest relief... Jimin chuckled hugging him back "So, how are we going to search the owner now?" Jungkook asked
The oldest among them hummed and took the gun from Jimin... "We have to track the registration number of this gun... I have my friend in tracking agency... Let's go contact them" they nodded and settled into the car before driving away...
Few hours later, They were waiting in the lobby of tracking agency when a girl came towards them "we found the owner of this gun... It is registered in the name of an army officer" she said while eyeing Jungkook... "What is his name?" Jimin brought her attention back to the conversation...

Jimin dialled the number given by the agency and after a few rings, the call was picked followed by a deep "Hello?"
Jimin took a deep breath and said "I want to meet you" The other side of the line went silent for a moment "First, who are you and secondly, Why"
Jimin rolled his eyes... "Because I know what you did Mr. Murderer…"
"Look kid, I am a senior army officer and it won't take a minute for me to put you behind the bars so, stop messing around with me " The male from other side roared in anger
"Oh right... We will decide that Mister... I am sure you know your gun's registration number which is XXXXXX, right?"
"I am sending you my address, be there at sharp 5" Before Jimin could reply the other side of the line went dead and within no time his phone vibrated with a notification... It was Namjoon's address

They were on their way to Namjoon's place but Jungkook was hungry so had to take a break... Professor Kang was on the call, standing at the distance when Jungkook came with sandwiches for his best friend... "Hyung…"
"I am not hungry buddy" Jimin responded being scared as hell... Jungkook rolled his eyes before shoving the sandwich to his best friend's mouth "yeah , now eat" Jimin glared at the younger but took a bite anyway " what if he murder us as well?" Jimin asked, being a little paranoid… Jungkook hummed as his mouth was filled with the sandwich... After gulping down the food he said "There is only one way to find out and we are on it... But remember that I will gladly throw myself in front of the death and give you a chance to run" he winked
Jimin glared at him and kicked his best friend's leg " Never dare to do that... I love you way more than this stupid life of mine" Jungkook giggled and bumped his shoulder with his Hyung... "And I love you equally, if not more... You were with me when no one was there... If it wasn't for you, I would have never gotten someone like Yoongi... There is no way I will leave you alone to die... We are in this together…"
Jimin smiled before jumping on his best friend who was quick to hold him securely in his embrace "Okay, we will run away together... " Jimin said snuggling more into the younger's embrace "Nah... We will beat the ass together... Whether it be Senior Officer Namjoon or that tormented spirit... Nobody messes with J-twins..." He hugged back giving Jimin the comfort he needs in such crucial situation
"That lovey dovey talk sounds sweet and all but I don't want to risk my life... So, do continue your bromance later but for now let's keep moving" The professor said, showing his wrist watch and both of J-duo's eyes widened seeing the time... It was already 4:50
They once again continued their journey and finally reached to the place
"For someone who murders people, this asshole have a really big place" Jungkook whispered loud enough for the professor Kang to hear it who rolled his eyes and asked "and what logic are you implying over here" Jungkook shrugged "That he didn't murder him for money like how people usually do in movies "
Professor Kang gave a side eye to Jungkook before they all walked into the house and first thing they saw was the man sitting on the couch
Jimin's blood boiled looking at the asshole but he calmed himself... Professor Kang threw the gun on the coffee table "This belongs to you" it wasn't a question but the statement
Namjoon looked at the gun and then at them before standing up "Where did you find that?" He asked walking towards them
Jimin slammed his fist in the nearby wall "The same jungle you killed the innocent soul... You asshole... People like you make me sick... You must have brought the young soul to your bed and pleasured yourself before killing him, right? I know people like you... Only know how to use oth-" before he could finish, Namjoon loudly growled "NOBODY DOES THAT TO HIS OWN BROTHER"
"Br-brother?" Jimin's eyes widened in shock he wasn't expecting this at all but before he could process the information... A drop of tear escaped from the corner of the tallest male in the room "Yes, he is my baby brother... the only family I had... Who left the home one day and never returned back" Namjoon took a deep breath to handle himself... "I have been looking for him all this time but the moment you called... My search stopped... I know that he has gone far away from me... Way too far" All the other male present in the room were feeling extremely bad for him especially Jimin who said whatever came to his mind without any proof "I am sorry for my behaviour sir... And I wish I could say your brother is in a better place but that's not true.."
Namjoon looked down thinking what must have went wrong with his brother... He was about to ask but the professor started talking... "I am sorry Mr. Kim but we have to leave" And left without hearing Namjoon's reply while J-duo shared a look before giving Namjoon an apologetic smile... " Why didn't you tell him about his brother being a spirit?" Jungkook asked once they were out of Namjoon's place
"Because I am not ready to answer the question I don't have answer for... Hope you understand" Professor said while starting the engine... They drove back in the silence until Jungkook's phone started ringing... It was Yoongi's call
He gulped before receiving the call "Hello?" The deep voice made its way to Jungkook's ear "Hello baby"
Jungkook took a deep breath to act normal..."H-hey where are you?" He asked "Yeah I am at Hobi's cabin what about you?you know I have been calling you for so long but your number wasn't reachable then I called the office and got to know you took a day off... you got sick didn't you?"Yoongi asked, his voice was filled with concern for his husband making Jungkook gulp, In their 13 years of relationship they had never for once hidden anything to each other let alone lying "Yeah... I am fine... Just wanted to spend some time with Jiminie Hyung... I thought it would great if we will go around on a mini road trip than staying at home and missing you guys" Jungkook mentally praised himself for not stuttering and saying a lie which is a partial lie
"You did great... How's Minnie?is he still thinking about that ghost and all or tried to take those pills?" Yoongi asked, Jungkook glanced at his best friend who was looking out of the window being lost in his thoughts "He will be fine... I am here for him... Always and forever" Jungkook said while caressing Jimin's hair to gain his attention... The second oldest in the car looked at Jungkook who gave him a big bunny smile
Jimin smiled back and leaned on his best friend's touch , resting his head on Jungkook's shoulder... He took the phone from the younger's hand "Yahh, Hyungie just a small reminder, our Bunny is my best friend first and then your husband so of course he is taking the best care of me so instead of worrying so much finish your work quickly and get both of your ass back soon but not too soon we wanna enjoy more " Yoongi chuckled softly "I am glad to know that... Don't worry, we will be back by tomorrow... Take care... Love you both"
