EXAMINATION ROOM

"as you know, miss Kim, as your grandmother's guardian. . . the latest round of chemotherapy has not been successful as we'd thought, and the patient's tumor remains more or less the same size. it seems likely that the cancer has grown somewhat resistant to treatment." the doctor explained while I look down

". . . I see"

" so, I was actually thinking. . ." the doctor start

". . . that maybe we might try a different tack altogether. there's a new medicine that's just completed the trial phase and been approved for use"

"a new medicine?!" I look at the doctor curious

"yes, and in my opinion, I think it's the best hope for your grandmother" she said before continueing

"only. .. because it's still so new, it's not yet covered by insurance. . . and I'm afraid it's quite expensive"

" the overall cost of treatment might double or even triple."

I look down as I clenching my fish on top of my messenger bag, "and if.... we don't try the new medicine..... what happens to my grandmother...?" I ask the doctor (why do I feel this doctor is a scam?)

"if not that, then I'm afraid... there's nothing we can do for her." the doctor answer my question and let's say I didn't like it

Time skip (at the waiting area)

Sitting at one of the chairs in the waiting area as I think to myself,

'the price is so exorbitant that I don't want to pressure you in any way... all I'll say is, I believe it to be worth considering." remembering what the doctor have said to me in the examination room

'how does everything just keep on getting worse and worse?" I ask myself as I sign looking at the corner

"haaaa..."

'my struggles are one thing... but I just really wanted to spare my grandma any pain'.

'there's just nothing more I can do for you...'

I thought negatively as I hold my head feeling the sorrow.... but I felt my phone vibrate in my other hand, I look who's the caller is

Joo Jaekyung staring at his phone irritated as his calls are not answered again

the person you are calling cannot-

'tsk.'

he throw his phone at the small chair near him, and as he about to turn around his door bell rang

he look at his door in confuse cute face, he walk up to the small table like by the door, he look at it to see a very wet physical therapy doctor, literally

he stare at the table thing for a while before he 'ha!' (hahaha) "now this, I was not expecting."

he let her enter his penthouse before he sat on his couch before talking to her in a bitchy attitude like he didn't call her a million times

"I must have called you a thousand times, and you didn't pick up once." he said while having his arms crossed and brow raise he can be a mean girl "what could possibly be going on in that pretty little head of yours that would bring you to my doctor?"

"...." she look at him blankly as the rain water drip from her face and body before speaking

"I needed to make completely sure...about the job. You're not hiring me as just your physical therapist, are you?" she ask him

"of course no."

she frown at his answer "you'll manage my physical condition with muscle treatments before and after my training each day.... and you'll be responsible for pre-match sex sessions, to deal with my Jinx."

"I assumed even you would pick up on that much."

"... then can I ask.... why me, of all people?" she ask him

"what I need is someone who can help me reach and maintain absolute physical peak condition."

" I think there's a good chance that this new medicine could actually help your grandmother." the doctor said

"the cost is so steep that I don't want to pressure you in any way. All I'll say is, I believe it to be worth considering" Dr. Miseon Kim said

"exactly how steep is the cost?" y/n ask the doctor

"just the medicine alone will be around 9,000 dollars" the price really make her more broke than she already do haha, she sweat drop at the price because I think is over price

"then there're the usual fees for nursing and what not... you would need to plan for over 10 thousand per month>" the doctor said

'over 10k a month?! how on earth could I possibly...?'

".... you offered me four thousand. I want 10 thousand more on top of that." she said to Jaekyung as if his a bank account

"make it 14,000 dollars a month" she said, she does make him a bank account, (sugar daddy yarn?)

"if you cam do that, I'll sign." she offered

her heart is pumping so hard she can hear her own heart while looking at Jaekyung

"so it was just the money after all." he grin

"alright." she look at him shock as he stand up making her look up "I'll meet your terms but I have one more of my own" she look at him some what scared for what she is about to hear

"whether I have a fight coming up or not... no matter the time or place, you'll spread your legs for me when I say so. you can do that much, right?" he said as his face is so close to her face she can feel his breath,

she swallows before she talk "a-alright"
