Chapter 2: The Job Part One

(Thursday)
~Lucy's POV~
I woke up with a frown on my face. I felt i didn't want to go to Fairy Academy but i knew i had too cause i need to pay my rent on Sunday. I got up and went to the bath-room so i can take a short shower. After that i went to school.( Academy)

When i got there Natsu and Gray were all over me. "Hey Luce. Want to go on a date with me?" Natsu begged. "I can take you to a fancy place! It's great there!" Gray pushed Natsu away. THEN they started fighting,like always! "uuuuuuurrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhStop it. You guys just stop. i don't want to go on a date with you two." I shouted at them. "Why does this happen to me?" I asked my self. Then Erza came and scared them away. "STOP FOOLING AROUND WITH LUUUUUCCCYYYY." Erza tried to kill them. Then they started running away from the big beast. "Thank you so much Erza." i thank Erza. " no problem Lucy." Erza said while trying to kill Gray and Natsu. I went to Mirajane's office and took a job. I didn't really read the whole thing but all i saw was 10,000000 jewlls on it. "Hey look. 10,000000 jewlls. That can pay my rent for the next few months." I cheered. Then i gave it to Mirajane. Mira looked at the sheet then looked at me. I was a little scared and happy at the same time. "Are you sure you can do this on your own,Lucy?" Mira asked. "Yeah, of course i can." I laughed nervously. "Are you sure?" Mira made a face. I just nodded. "well then you have to take this tomorrow." Mira putted it in a box. "WHAT? WHY?" I asked. "Your in Ms. Blakes class?" Mira asked. "Yeah. Why?" i leaned over. "well you can't cause your class has a big test after lunch and we need everyone in that class to do it." Mira smiled. "Really? Can't i just miss that one test once?" i pleaded. "NNOOO." Mira gave me a SHE-DEVIL look. Then i just nodded and ran away from her. I went to my other classes and tried to aviod Natsu and Gray. When i was about to open the door Natsu and Gray came running past me and shouted out "How about Friday?" "NNNOOOOOO. I TOLD BOTH OF YOU! I WONT GO ON A DATE." I screamed at the top of my lungs. "STOP MAKING LUCY SADDDDDDDD. I WILL KILL YOU BOTH." Erza screamed and got another sword. "thx again Erza." i smiled. "no prob Lucy."

-TIME SKIPPED-LUNCH TIME-

"Are you okay, Lucy-sama?" Wendy asked. "sure." i groaned. "Don't worry about Natsu or Gray. I'll deal with them after i eat my strawberry cake." Erza took a bite at her cake. "Thanks, Erza." I smiled. When Natsu and Gray walked in I was so angry and sad and depressed. I don't know why!? "Hey,Luce! Want a drink?!" Natsu asked. "Lucy, so what about Friday?" Gray cheered. "Hey I was going to ask her out, ICE QUEEN!" Natsu yelled at Gray.

Gray- "Well I asked her first, Fire Brian!

Natsu- Ice NumbStick

Gray- What was that, Flame Lizard

Natsu- I said, Ice Baby.....

Gray- I know what you said, Flame eater!

Natsu- Then why did you ask!

Then they started to fight! "Hey Michelle, do you think I should go out with Lucy instead of Flame Brain here?!" Gray asked Michelle. Michelle just froze there looking at her brother. "UUummmm...... SASKIA HELLLLPPPPP MEEEE!!!" Michelle cried. "Gray calm down!" Saskia took Michelle from Gray. "Then what's your answer to that question?!" Natsu lean over. I was shock he asked that question! Usually he would say something really stupid! "Well....... Thats Lucy's choice! But my opinion is....!" Saskia smiled. They both lean over. "I THINK GRAY SHOULD BE WITH MY SISTER!" Saskia made a SHE-DEVIL look. Both of them we're complaining! "STOOPPPO!! I HAD ENOUGH OF BOTH IF YOU TWO!" I cried out. When I stood up my hand hitted Erzas plate and made her drop her plate. Then Erza was so angry! "I'm so sorry Erza!" I begged. "Its....... OK......! It wasn't your fault! IT WAS GRAY AND NATSUS FAULT! BOTH IF YOU WILL PAY!!" Erza screamed. Then she chased both if them, again! Wendy laughed nervously. I over heard Saskia and Michelle talking! "My brother is so dumb! He should be with your sister!"Michelle talked about her brother. "I know! My sister should we with your brother not with that UGLY guy Lyon!" Saskia talked about her sister. "What! ARE YOU SAYING THAT JUVIA IS BETTER THAN ME?!"I screamed. "WENDY......... HELP US!" they both yelped. "I'm sorry! I'm just so angry and sad!" I groaned. "Why?" Wendy asked. "Well.... Natsu and Gray...... Rent.......Job........ Test!" I cried. "Oh! Sorry for asking!" Saskia sat down. "Its OK!" I made a fake smile.

Saskia- Hey Lucy.

Me- Yeah?!

-what job did you pick?

-ummm... I didn't read the while thing but it's a job for fighting some demons on a island called 'Dragon.....' something?!

~Saskia's POV~
I was really shock when Lucy told me that!

-WHAT! UMMM... CAN I COME!?

-Umm... I was really looking forward to pay my rent!.....

-YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHARE THE PAY AT ALL!

-WHAT! Are you sure?

-YEAH ALL I WANT IS.....IS...TO FIGHT THE DEMONS!

-Really? Okay! But you can change your mind if you want?!

-Sure!

Then she took her lunch and threw it away and went to class. I sneaked....(well not sneaked but surprise) to Michelle and whispered into her ear, "MICHELLE!" "Aaahhhh!" Michelle yelped. "Don't scare me like that okay?!" Michelle pleaded. "I need to tell you something!" I begged. "What is it?!" Michelle asked. We sat down and makes sure that no one was listening.

Me- I found out that Lucy has job that lead to the island!

Michelle- What island?!

I gave her look then she figured it out and gasped.

-WHAT!

-Yeah! Thats why in coming with Lucy!

-Let me come too!

-NO! If Natsu and Gray came looking for us, Natsu will smell us out! Your the only person who can stop them! MAYBE!?

-HEY! WHATS THAT SOPOUS TO MEAN?!

-JUST DO IT! PLEASE! FOR MASTER YOKINO!

-FINE! I'M DOING THIS FOR MASTER!

-Great!

I gave Michelle a hug and took off! Michelle sighed and shook her head in confusion!
Then head off to class.
