( Imagine you're lost in the Cortez hotel and you can't find your room so you wonder down to the different floors that you aren't aloud to go on but you do anyways and you run into James 🤭 )

Rose " I bring a flashlight with me because for whatever reason it's so dark down here I point the flashlight down the hallway the light hits all of the doors and I begin making my way slowly down the hall It was eerily quiet and cold which I didn't really like but I just kept walking kinda shaking from how cold it was " .

           ( a few mins later )

" Something that sounds like a glass drops, and I point the flashlight in all directions , hello? I say out loud but nothing, so I keep walking only a bit faster this time because I felt like I was being watched. I don't know why. "

James " I laugh loudly."

Rose" Who's there?! I call out trying to sound brave and not like I'm scared but when I don't get a response I start running back to the elevator not looking back or in front of me and ' just what I knew would happen I collide with someone and I scream , then a hand is put over my mouth in a quick motion " .

James" Shush darling, you'll give yourself a heart attack if you don't calm down, I say, and I take my hand off of her mouth."

Rose " I back up quickly who are you I say pointing the flashlight at him ".

James " Come on, you look like you could use a drink. I smile at her, and then I lead her to my room."

Rose" So what's your name? " .

James" I'm James march I run this hotel or I used to " .

Rose" Oh is all I say, and I drink some of my water."

James " I do apologize for giving you a scare. I just saw the opportunity and had to I grin."

Rose " It's fine. I say smiling, uh, are you like a guy from the 50s or something? "

James " I'm someone from the 1920s or most people say that because of my accent any how what is your name? Mrs, if I may ask, "

Rose" I'm Rose Hart some people call me Rosie " .

James" Aah Rosie, what a lovely name for a woman like you . What are you doing roaming the halls, especially down here at nighttime?"

Rose" Uh, well, I just wanted to see what's on these floors,"

James " You must never come down here again, Rose, because these floors are off-limits for a reason, do you understand?"

Rose " Yes, I nod."

James " good and I drink my whiskey " .

Rose" I've never seen you around before, and I never knew you were once the owner of this place."

James" That's because I never really show myself unless I want to and I've taken quite an interest in you my dear you intruge me so " .

Rose " I do I say confused "

James " Yes you do now it's time you go back up in the elevator if my wife saw you around here and down here she wouldn't be happy now run along I'll see you later hopefully if you decide to stay and I stand up ' then I take her hand and I kiss it gently ".

Rose " I nod goodbye James I say and I leave the room " .

James " Goodbye Mrs hart I say calling after her then I drink my whiskey again " .
