•Malcoms POV♡•

He gently shook me. "mmh"I answered, eyes still close. "Mal, wake up" he whispered. I slowly opened my eyes. "Maverick"I spoke softly. "Get up and pack your things, we're leaving" he whispered. I looked at him. "What?" My eyes widened. He looked towards Alaric who was standing by the open door.

I sat on my bed, confused of what is happening. "Malcolm, get dressed and pack your stuff quickly and come to my room" Maverick whispered to me as he and Alaric left.

What?

I did as he said and sneakily went to Mavericks room sneakily, in order to not wake my parents. "Maverick" I called him. They looked at me, Maverick ready with a bag on his back. "What's happening?" I asked him still confused rubbing my eyes and yawning.

"We're running away" he answered and I stared at them. I then relaxed and knew it was the best choice for us. I followed them out through the window.

We soon got to a subway station after walking for hours. We wore a disguise just incase people would recognize us. Our family is famous and people knew Alaric because he has appeared on some of my brothers videos and as he's his best friend. My father owned a famous business and my mom was a famous fashion designer.

"Where are we going?" I asked them. "I don't know"Maverick answered and looked at Alaric. Am I missing something? I feel like I'm missing something.

"Am I missing something?" I asked them curiously, they looked at each other and looked back at me. "We'll tell you later" they answered at the same time which caught me surprised. The train soon arrived and we hoped on. Yeah we hopped on a random train.

A lot of people were staring at us. I looked around. "Why are they staring at us?" I whispered. And then, I saw it.

"Why are you holding hands?" I asked surprise. They looked down and only then they realized what they were doing, they looked at each other and Maverick smirked and Alaric turned away embarrassed. They didn't let go. "I missed a whole chapter" I looked at them. "We'll explain later, for now lets find a seat"Maverick suggested.

We ended up finding two seats, I sat on top of Maverick while Alaric sat next to him. "This is going to take forever"I yawned. "Tired?" Maverick asked. "Yeah"I yawned. "Why not sleep?" he asked.

"Because it's hard to fall asleep like this" I told him. I looked at Alaric. "Can we swap places?" I asked. Alaric blushed. "Sure" he answered in barely a whisper. I got up and we did what I asked. I laid on the chair, falling asleep.

(While he was asleep)

"You look cute when your red" Maverick complimented. "Shut up"Alaric scolded and looked away. Maverick thought for a bit.

"Alaric?"he called out, thus time being serious. "hmm"Alaric answered. "How would I know if your actually my mate, I mean I know your not lying, it's just that... "Maverick thought looking down.

Alaric looked at him. "Mav?, I knew you had a crush on me"Alaric spoke. Maverick turned red. "How?" he asked, curiously. "You started having a crush on me after my birthday right?"Alaric asked. Maverick nodded.

"Yeah... Well... When your mates birthday passed and they're are younger than you, regardless what, they will start falling for them, even if they had a crush in someone else, they will loose their feelings for them and intently fall for their mate, if they have seen them"Alaric explained. "That's why, all of a sudden I just started liking you with no explanation"Maverick said in realization. Alaric nodded.

"How does this work?" Alaric questioned. "huh?"Maverick was confused at the sudden saying. Alaric looked at him confused. "We're both male, and your an alpha, I'm your beta"he spoke. "Well... That means you won't be my beta in the pack"Maverick answered. Alaric looked at him confused.

"Since we're mates, you won't be a beta in the pack, you'll just be by my side. You'll technically be treated like an omega except for the fact you won't carry babies" Maverick answered. "Your only ruling with me"Maverick added.

"I technically, I won't have to go to trainings, and all those things again"Alaric spoke. Maverick nodded. Alaric's eyes glowed happily. "I don't have to go to training anymore"he squealed.

Maverick smiled and kissed him gently on the lips.

I woke up to people leaving the train. I turned to Maverick and found Alaric sleeping peacefully on Maverick, him fast asleep to. Quickly I took a pic before waking them up. We left the subway.

"What are we going to do now?" I asked. "Start a new life, I guess" Alaric spoke. "You have any money?" I asked. He popped out a card. "I've been saving up money since I had no use in using it"Alaric spoke. "But we'll still have to find a job later"he added.

We left to a restaurant because we haven't eaten since forever.

"Can you tell me what is it that I'm missing?"I asked, the two were sitting next to each other. Closer than 'just friends'. They looked at each other, and looked back at me. They seem to do that a lot.

"We're mates" they answered at the same time. Do they think the same to. Maybe mind link. I looked down thinking. "but...?"

"I know what your gonna say, but he told me already, and explained how he's telling the truth"Maverick spoke. I looked away. "Cool"that was the only word I could say at that point.

"Is that why they shouted at you? I mean, knowing you guy, y'all were probably were making out in the room or something"I smirked. They turned red. "How?"Alaric asked, surprised.

"I just know you guys to well"I answered. "That's to much though"I rolled my eyes. Alaric yawned. He laid down on Mavericks shoulder while we waited for the food. Maverick smiled. I laid back. "Y'all make me feel single"I whined. Maverick smirked. "Y'all find your mate in the next 2yrs or something"he said.

"For now I'll be living with feeling single until then, and I don't want to hear the unholy coming from y'all rooms"I crossed my arms. Alaric was already a sleep a bit, and didn't hear. Maverick blushed hard. I just said what I had to say.

The waiter arrived and gave Alaric a disgusted look. She looked over at Maverick and I honestly hated the way she did. When she looked at me she just rolled her eyes, Maverick was to focused on waking up Alaric, he didn't notice.

"Bitch, he's taken"I told her. She rolled her eyes at me.

"So what would you like to order?" she asked in a fake smile. Alaric looked at and she gave him a disgust look, he smiled and laid on Maverick. Maverick still had no clue. He looked at him. I looked directly at her.

"He's taken"I told her, Maverick was confused. She ignored me again.

"And what would you like to order, handsome"that sounded so cringe. Like girl, that was the most cringes thing I've ever heard. Maverick looked around. "As I said, he's taken"I told her again. And only then he understood. Boy is oblivious sometimes. He gave her a death stare.

"Shut up idiot" she spoke to me. Their is one thing you shouldn't do. Be mean to the people Maverick loves. "Bitch, what did you say?"Maverick looked furious. "Don't be like that, he was just being mean to me" she defended. I looked at Maverick and he looked me back. "Can we please have another waiter?"he asked, trying not to sound mad.

"Of course not, I'm the hottest here" Your the most disgusting one here. Maverick looked at Alaric. He pulled his chin up and kissed him in front of her. She looked disgusted and mad. She left without saying a word. I feel real single now.

"What's wrong with you?" Maverick asked. I looked at him like it was obvious.

"Can't believe I'm going to live with this"
