Disclaimer 2: This story takes place after Sasuke killed Danzo and Sakura confronted him and will go till the end of Shippuden( and potentially the last), I'm not doing Boruto stuff because it'll be more confusing than ever. I'm thinking of doing the Sarada Uchiha arc but instead of Sarada it'll be with Boruto but I do right now.
Disclaimer 3: I may add a Hinata X Kiba ship in there just for fun considering there was no build-up to a SasuHina ship in the manga and it makes more sense.

Sasuke Uchiha, a rouge ninja from the Village Hidden in the Leaves is set on a journey of revenge. Sakura Haruno, a former teammate of Saskue arrives on the scene in an attempt to kill him. Sakura was visibly shaken as Sasuke stood over the lifeless body of Danzo.
"What do you want, Sakura?" Sasuke asked as he stood over Danzo's body.
"I-I regret not coming with you when you left the village," Sakura responded as she stood across from Sasuke shaking. His voice was cold, distant. "I'll do whatever you want, just let me come with you Sasuke!" Sakura said.
She was hesitant, she knew it wouldn't be easy to gain Sasuke's trust but she knew she had to try.
Sasuke eyed her skeptically. "Why would you want to join me, what are you trying to pull?"
Sakura gathered her courage in her breath and replied "I-I'll do whatever you want, I'll follow your orders."Sakura replied
"What I want is to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village, are you willing to betray the Leaf for me? He answered
What he couldn't possibly want to do that, Sakura hesitated but eventually she agreed to do it. "... Y-yes if that's what you want me to do"
"Hm, prove it, kill her, and I'll let you join me" Saskue continued
Sakura knew she'd have to prove herself but to her this was a monstrosity, killing someone was more than she wanted to do.
"Who is she?" Sakura questioned
"She's a part of my organization "Taka" but she's useless to me now". Sasuke replied cruelly "Sakura you're a medical ninja, kill her and take her place, you'll be more useful to me than she was."
How cruel... He isn't the old Sasuke anymore. He's changed completely... She approached the area where Sasuke stood next to Danzo's dead body on the ground, still shaken at the fact that Sasuke killed Danzo.
"Well, can't you handle this Sakura?"
Sakura paused for a moment. She knew she could end it right then, she was so close to Saskue that she could launch a surprise attack on him!
"Stop... Sasuke"
Before she knew it, Sasuke was behind Sakura, attempting to pierce through her using his Chidori, but Kakashi intervened and blocked it, defending Sakura.
"How far have you fallen Saskue?" Kakashi asked.
"Sakura was trying to kill you on her own, wasn't she? There's no excuse for her to be shouldering this burden all by herself. As the leader of Team 7, I blame myself for my shortcomings for the team's failure. Saskue, I hate repeating myself, but I'll tell you one more time, stop your obsession with revenge.
"Sakura can you heal her? Heal her so that she can talk."
Sakura nodded and Kakashi began to fight Saskue.
Got kind of lazy so I'm not writing the Saskue vs. Kakashi fight so I'm just going to skip to the point where Sakura tries to kill Saskue.
Sakura noticed that Saskue's eyes were causing him pain(due to the overuse of his Mangekyo Sharingan) so she went in, trying to kill him with a kunai coated with poison.
I thought I was prepared
She tried but couldn't bring herself to do it, Saskue looked behind grabbed Sakura and started choking her.
Kakashi couldn't do anything as his Mangekyo Sharingan was wearing him out.
Sasuke attempts to kill Sakura with her poison-coated kunai, but Naruto comes in and saves Sakura while getting a little scratch thanks to Saskue.
"T-thanks Naruto". Sakura said
Sasuke really tried to kill me, if it weren't for Naruto, I'd have been dead.
Sakura reflects on a talk she had with Sai.
Flashback
Sai enters Lady Tsunade's tent wanting to talk to Sakura.
He tells Sakura how much Naruto has done to protect Saskue. "He was bruised and battered over and over yet he still never sold out Saskue. Not only that but to protect you from worrying, he asked me to not tell you. As we speak, he's on his way to the Raikage to plead for Sasuke's forgiveness. Although I haven't been on Team 7 long, I could tell that Naruto is in love with you, Sakura".
End of Flashback
She thinks of all the things Naruto's done for her forgets about Saskue and creates a new goal, to be strong enough to protect Naruto. She doesn't want Naruto to bear a burden anymore and realizes that she's a part of Naruto's burden.
In the end, Naruto and Kakashi couldn't save Sasuke from his own darkness, and he went with "Madara".
I do hope you enjoyed this first chapter as there'll be many more to come in the coming weeks and months. I took some lines from other fanfics and from the Naruto Shippuden anime(like Sai's line) to add a little more character to the characters. I hope that you'll continue to read this every time I write a new chapter. -Undead
P.S I promise as I continue to write this, this will be better and hopefully the best NaruSaku fan fiction.
