When I got into the school I was quickly yelled at by an eager little kid. Aka, Nolan.
"Bitch your back!" Nolan ran up to me, "I saw who drove you up, like omj, you were serous! Oh Abby, I'm now making Abigail your main song! It was a mostly song for you, but now it's now your total main ringtone for like all everything!" Oh man, he must have had coffee this morning with extra sugar and candy and pop tarts for breakfast.
"Oh Nolan! Calm down and come on, we got class!" Now off to the long lectures of nothing I shall ever use in my future. First class, geography. Sure, I have to admit that I will use some of this in the future. Like using science to find hair dye that will work the best or makeup, or fixing makeup. Or using multi languages for while with the guys on tour. Or math for product sales and buying from hot topic. Geography for finding venues. Art for logos. Foods, well let's just say it comes in handy when your gonna be stuck on a bus full of guys. See I want to be a music producer or manger when I'm older. I love the thought of working with music and bands. Or I might work in a place like 13 13 dreadwood lane. I also really like scaring people on Halloween. In that case, geography for finding a location and mapping. Science for special effects. Math for all sorts off stuff. Art for designing. And foods for making stuff like fake blood and other stuff. Well hey, I still got time to think, nobody's in a rush for me to decide, why not have some fun in the process.
After a long boring day of school I texted Chris to come pick me up. Nolan said he wanted to wait with me until he showed up. It was nice, we talked about a bunch of things until the hummer pulled up and Gohst came out.
"Hey little demon spirit!" Ghost said while picking me up smiling, "awwww, don't you look so fab cute today."
"Ok, who spiked his drink?" I say while looking at the other guys who just snicker at us.
"OMG, are you Abbyla's boyfriend? Awwwwwww, Abby's got a boyfriend!"
"Hey mister back off he's my best friend and it would be total weird if we dated!" I say,
"Yah, considering I'm also bi, and got a boyfriend of my own, but can't seem to set this bitch up." Nolan said. Yup he's bi. Yup, he's got a boyfriend. Yup he keeps trying to set me up.
"Whoops." Was all he said.
"Haha it's ok buddy." I say rubbing his hair. We then get in the car and drive home.
"Soooooooooo, Abigail, we noticed your 15th is coming up soon and it's just after Halloween. Do you want to invite all your friends over or something? You can have them all for a party or something, or have girl time or-"
"Hold up there horror. How many friends do you think I have? Cause the only friends I have are what you saw when you picked me up. Everyone hates me, I've only got Nolan, and he's away for Halloween, I have to work Halloween, I've never had a party cause what's the point of going out for something you can't celebrate, also we weren't allowed people over at the orphanage and now we have jobs so I haven't had a birthday party before, and even if I did I have nobody to come." Saying that I quickly ran from the car and to my room before they could say anything. I had to make a call for my Halloween costume, I know a guy who knows some people who master my costumes. I also didn't want to say anything more on the whole birthday topic.
"Hello?" He answered for once, yes!
"Hey Cealen! It's Ab, listen I have a request for this years costume."
"Oh? Pray tell chika to bad my little bro Nolan can never see you in those awesome costumes." Yah, he's Nolan's older brother, but hey he makes me some sweet costumes.
"So I was thinking dyeing my hair black. The dress, white with skulls but be covered with blood splatter. And a mechanical fallen eye." Yah he knows a tech guy that can get me an eye thing that goes on like a contact but makes it look like your eye is missing and has the eye hanging from it, the cool part is it call follow your eye under it so it makes it look like you can move your eye. It makes it so cool.
"Man. This is gonna be a scare tastic costume this year. It just keeps getting better and better. I got yah Ab. Oh, and I'll have 1 of the guys from 13 13 send your new fam some passes for it also. Then you can show them your wild little talent."
"Yah yah, thanks Cae, see yah when everything's in."
"You know it, can't wait to see it. We can have you skip that day of school and we can get you ready at your new place. That way we can video tape it when your fam comes home. Oh this is gonna be too good! Can't wait ttyl chicka!"
"Bye Cae!" Well, everything's on its way for Halloween now just have to figure out how I'm gonna avoid the birthday.
Well, my heads throbbing so I'm a gonna take a walk I the bush for a little bit to look around.
"Hey, who were you talking to?" Chris asks as I walk out of my room.
"Just making the plans for my costume this year for work."
"Oh, well whatever the cost we can pay for it. Don't even m think about saying no missy cause we will."
"Chris, it's fine, I get it free, I just call my guy, tell him my plans for the costume. My work deals with payments. Oh, speaking of work charlotte insists that you guys come to see the house this year. Her and Cae say that with my costume this year it's going to be a scare to remember. And carter says this year it going to involve some real midnight screams that had the mechanics scared. Cae also insisted to send you guys passes to get in. It's 1 of the perks to working there is I can get people passes so it's free for the scare." He looks at me shocked and then smiles big.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world. Can't wait. And, would your work mind if we got some extra passes for some friends?"
"Not at all I can send them the # whenever and give them to you the night of."
"Sounds perfect missy! Oh and before I forget, I was gonna talk to you about some stuff." We moved to the couch. "So about the last name, your gonna have it as motionless. We understand if you have to work, but at least now we can see you work at your finest. We totally get it if you need your space. But, about the birthday thing. You don't have to have anything happen if you don't want to. I think the guys just really wanted to celebrate your first birthday with us. But it's ok if you don't want to. Totally understand. Just wanted to clarify." I hug him, how can someone be so understanding and perfect? I don't know but wow.
"Thanks dad. And it you guys want to do something for my birthday you can. I don't have anything to do anyway. I can't wait for you to come and see my work. Also, I love the idea of being a motionless. Abigail Motionless! Haha kinda like the song Abigail! Also just tell me the # of people you want for passes and I can get you them at anytime." After we talked I told him I was thinking of going for a walk in the woods. So that's what I did. I walk outside and find the woods around here are just perfect for me. They weren't too colourful, but they had leaves that we're starting to change, which will look sweet in fall, and be so fun to play in. Once the leaves fell I could tell the trees would look creepy and cool. A total photo moment. It was so pretty.
After that I walked to work to see how my costume was going. I texted Ghost about that and told him I would be back in a few hours. It wasn't that far of a walk. I know it hasn't been that long since I made the call but they worked fast and miracles so it should be well under way. When I entered I went to the room where all the costumes are made. It was like in identity room, you could change your whole identity without even leaving the room. It was so cool. First, I went to Betty who was working on my dress.
"Hey bets, how's it going?"
"Hey Ab, I just finished. It's drying right now." I went over and looked at the dress. It was perfect. Just what I wanted.
"I love it bets."
"That's my job Ab. The other parts for it should be done fully by tomorrow. Now go checkout the rest." I then walked over to dona who had my hair dye.
"Don't even try to scare me Ab, yes I have your dye. Here ya go. It's my job. Love you too. Now go check out the others. Like that cool eye your getting." Woah, ok it's kinda freaky when she can read your mind and knows what to say. I go to the mechanical arts and see carter,
"hey C" he barely looks up to see me, as he's working with a small microchip.
"Hey Abby. I'm just finishing the eye. It turned out to work better than I thought. Here try it on." I tried it on. It fit perfect and I could see with it on. The mechanic part didn't effect my eye either.
"Does it move with my eye good?"
"Perfect. It follows and mocks it perfectly. and don't even think about thanking me cause it's my job and I know everyone here says that but it's true. So go prepare for your act." I walk off after taking it off and go rehears my act. This time I don't mess up, but still practice. I want this time to be my best. After all I got people to scare and impress. Later I head back home.
"Hey honey how was work?" Chris asks sitting with Ghost.
"It was great. I practiced my parts a few times and my costume is mostly finished and should be done by tomorrow afternoon."
"That soon?" They seemed shocked at the short time span.
"Yup, our guys work miracles and in such a short amount of time."
"Well, we've asked some people and were wondering if we could get, maybe if we could, 14 passes."
"Yah sure." I put in my order for passes on my phone and send it to Charlotte who works on all the passes. "Done. I'll have them tomorrow."
"Really?" Why does he sound so surprised?
"Yah. oh and could somebody help my dye my hair? I usually have someone at work do it for me. I know that sounds stupid but I've never had time to learn to do it myself." I say embarrassed.
"Well, how about Josh? He's mostly the 1 to turn to." I ran up the stairs and right to Josh's room.
"Nock nock nock josh nock nock nock josh"
"Nock nock nock Abigail! What is it?" He opened the door. He looked a little agitated so time for the puppy eyes.
"Can you pwease help me dye my hair?" His face softens and looks confused instead.
"But why? Your hair looks awesome like that."
"I like it too but it's for work."
"Work? Sure. But while I'm doing this you have to explain miss crow. I want to know all about this work and why your hair should be black for this. Now come into my lair for we shall create our creation of chemicals and transform!"
"Haha your so funny uncle Josh." We started to dye it.
"So, work? Really? What kind of work has teens dyeing their hair?"
"The kind that has teens dressing up to terrify and mostly only working around and on Halloween. 27 hours on the day of. I scare people for a living! I work in this awesome haunted house type thing. And I can't tell you to much cause you guys are coming and visiting me while I work along with some other people. I already got the passes and talked to Chris. I believe I heard him talking about the other people being SWPB, and BVB. I have 2 parts this year in the event. I've already seen my acts too, they're gonna scare you, my costume especially. I'm not suppose to show anyone my costume, but Cae said we could get ready here so we could show you guys what your going up against."
"That scary eh? I thought you said we were the kings for that stuff?"
"Yah well, when it comes to my terf and work time, I'm queen and master of all!"
"It sounds like lots fun!" We talked some more about work until we checked the clock,
"Well, it hasn't seemed like it at all, but we've been talking so long, that we can wash this dye out and your all good!" We washed it out, it looked great!
"Thank you uncle Josh!" I cheered hugging him.
"Any time kido! Anytime, now you better go finish getting ready, Halloween is right around the corner!" I ran to my room and put everything in place for the next 2 days when Cae comes over to help me get ready! I'm so excited! I can't wait!
