[sorry, I'm not too good with sticking to one pov, so it might flip from Bing Amber's to 3rd person, so just ignore that I'll try to work on it, and my grammar is not the best so just bare with me and I hope you enjoyy ♡♡]

Amber was very excited getting ready for school this morning. she normally wasn't, especially on the first day, but she really missed tara. they hadn't seen each other in a month since Tara had been staying with her sister for the last half of summer which amber hated she's told she can be really possessive of people she cares abt especially Tara over the years of theyre friendship she had grown incredibly fond of of her she just really enjoyed being around the girl she made her feel like a person amber doesn't really have the best track record in people skills she just doesn't like being around anyone except Tara a loud chime interrupts her thoughts she grabs her phone seeing a text from tara

Tarr ♡ : Hey!! Sorry for the late notice, but can u come pick me up? Wes blew me off :(

Amber : yeah ofc dw about it. I'll be over in 20 and sry about wes he's stupid

Tarr ♡ : okk!! Cya soon, ambs :))

Amber smiled and set the phone down finishing up her makeup and made her way to the closet throwing on a lace tank top with a loose off the shoulder shirt over it and some baggy cargos she turned to the mirror to check her appearance before she headed out she normally didn't care about her appearance but being around tara made her feel like trying she wasn't she if it was jealousy bc of the girls effortless beauty or if it's bc she had feelings that's one thing she didn't like abt tara she didn't know how she felt about her she normally knows what she wants but with her it's impossible amber checked her appearance again in the rear view mirror and she pulled up in Tara's drive way fixing her hair

Amber : I'm here

Tarr ♡ : I'll be out in a secondd :))

Amber looks over to the front door to see tara walk out she clearly had put extra effort today, not that she needed it, she's wearing a flowy white dress with pink and red flowers her hair was wavy and half up in a claw clip and she was wearing her black converse she walked over the Amber's car and got in turning over to amber with a confused look "is something wrong?" She said, tilting her head a bit amber was shaken out of her trance "no not at all. You just look really pretty today. " tara smiled "only today?" She joked. Amber shoves her playfully."You know what I meant. And we better get going if you want to get coffee before school."

They got their coffee and made their way to school. They headed over to their group. "Hey, wes!!" Tara said, running over to him, embracing him into an awkward hug."Hi, tara. You look nice, " he said dryly, "thanks!" Mandy, let out a dramatic fake gag, earning a laugh from Amber and chad although liv shoved him. Amber never really was a fan of wes he just seemed like he thought he was better than everyone and always found a way to be with tara. Despite not liking her, he led her on but never reciprocated interest like he was playing with her she didn't really like this group in general. Liv and chad were always making out or fighting, which was really awkward for everyone else and tara and wes always being grouped off too leaving her with Mandy the most tolerable in her opinion so it wasn't the worst but she just wanted to be with tara and wanted tara to be with someone who wasn't a a total douche the bell rings knocking amber out of her thoughts she gets up and makes her way to class

It's already her 5th period, and amber was so bored she had only one class with tara, which happened to be her last, and unfortunately, wes is also in that class so she barley gets to interact with the girl but atleast it's her free period she usually just hangs by liv in the library doing both their homework "amberr are you even listening to me" she kicks at her leg to get her attention "sorry liv I've just been kinda tired today" amber replys dryly "don't worry girl I get it it's the first day" She smiles amber actually finds liv pretty nice when she's not attached to chad at the hip "yeah so what were you saying" amber says lifting her eyes off the worksheets she's just finished to make eye contact with liv "oh I was just talking about tara" she stated causing amber to perk up a bit "I just noticed her getting all dressed up and how she immediately ran too and greeted wes I thinks she's totally into him" she added "they're sooo cute right?" The girl giggled she had been excited for a new couple loving the idea of double dates ambers head just droped back to the other work sheet coping th answers the statement alone ruined Amber's mood but the fact she agreed and could see that tara was interested in him made it worse for the girl she basically ridiculed herself for even trying to believe it was for her "yeah totally." She replied dryly as she quickly finished livs homework handing it to her and leaving heading to her last class

Amber sat in the back, slouching in her chair, staring down the door, hoping wes wouldn't walk through. Tara made her way into the class, eyes lighting up when she saw Amber and making her way to the back in the seat right next to her "Hey ambs" she smiled, amber couldn't even try to be mad or ignore the girl when she got imedate butterflies when tara did anything "I'm so glad your in one of my classes I hadn't checked who was and I thought I only had one class with one of my friends in it" she ranted putting her head in her hands "yeah I only had two classes with anyone and both are with liv and Mandy" amber replied "ugh luckyyy i only got two with wes including this one" she groaned earning a giggle from Amber "I do not envy you" she smirked "Hey maybe we co-" she was interrupted by wes slamming his things down abruptly and sitting down infront of tara and turns to the side seeing Amber's glare and Tara's lack of attention towards him "what were yall talking shit about me or something" he joked only earning a laugh from tara "nooo amber was just asking me something" she smiled and turned back to amber tilting her head causing amber to blush she adjusts her position to leaning forward "oh yeah uhm I was just gonna ask if you wanted to go to that new Cafe after school" she answers looking up at tara still smiling and looks back down "yeah sure me and wes we gonna go there anyways" she chimed amber only looked up and nodded before sitting back to her original position chewing on her pencil eraser not talking or paying attention for the rest of class all she could think about is how much she hated how wes would get in her way he always managed to be there it made her blood boil she never could get why tara liked him so much which only pissed her off more she glared at the boy before leaving the class heading to her locker her phone chiming as she pulled her bag out of her locker

Tarr ♡: Hey! Wes is already heading there, and he invited someone else if you don't mind :))

Amber: ok. Am I driving you again

Tarr ♡: Yeah, if that's alright :)

Amber: yeah ofc it is

Tarr ♡: Good bc you're my favorite ride ;)) lol

Amber smiled down at her phone she could never be mad at this girl but she could never not be into her either it sucks since she knows she likes wes but she just can't help it the girl is just so.. perfect
