THE NIGHT HIS HEART BROKE

"Hannie, where are you?" Came a voice very deep.

"Seungcheolie, I'm in my room. Coming down now." Jeonghan replied back from his room and minutes later, a very handsome, etheral Jeonghan started to walk down the stairs.

"Oh my god, Hannie. If I weren't in love with Woozi, I would definitely propose you right now." Seungcheol said shaking his head.

"So?? How do I look?" Jeonghan asked his bestie who gave a thumbs up.

"Listen, I heard Mingyu is coming to the party as well. This is your last chance Han. Find an opportunity and talk to him okay?" Seungcheol patted his friend's shoulder who nodded.

Flashback:

"Come on, guys one two three bam, one two three bam." A tall, muscular guy called the count for a choreography steps.

"Mingyu, I can't really do it anymore. Let's take a break for 5." Said a boy with glasses, but still cute.

"Woo, come on, we just started." Mingyu replied to his friend and after a few tries he gave up.

"Okay, 5 minutes break." Mingyu said and he walked out of the room.

Somebody was running in his direction while looking back and he almost fell, but Mingyu held him with his strong hands and helped him stand back.

"Ooh sorry, sorry. I was just-" Jeonghan stopped talking.

"You are handsome." Jeonghan blurted out unknowingly and Mingyu laughed.

"I know I am. Now can you let go of me?" Mingyu asked and Jeonghan was a blushing mess.

"Yeah.. sorry again. And thanks." He said hurriedly and ran off.

Mingyu shook his head and walked away. Mingyu had a crush on Wonwoo since the first day of college. Even though they became friends later, Mingyu dared not propose Wonwoo or ask him out because he was scared of losing him.

But that day, after Mingyu saved him from falling, Jeonghan developed a crush on Mingyu. His friend Seungcheol who had seen the interaction and Jeonghan running away, had told his boyfriend Woozi, "I've never seen him like that", who had agreed as well.

Flashback ended.

"Let's get going or will be late." Seungcheol told his friend, Jeonghan who had spaced out.

"Yeah, let's go." Jeonghan replied with a sigh.

Later when everybody had gathered, the MC had announced that the party had started.

Everybody was having fun, when all a sudden, the music stopped, lights went out and just one focus light fell on none other than Wonwoo himself.

"What's happening?"

"Why is Wonwoo in the light?"

"Ooo... is anyone proposing him?"

People started whispering and Wonwoo was at loss of words.

"Jeon Wonwoo. Hello. It's me, Mingyu. Your best friend." Mingyu said over a microphone.

"Oh my god, it was Mingyu. Aww we all knew how cute they looked together??"

The girls started whispering and awwing at the cute scenes in front of them.

"Mingyu what are doing? Stop it." Wonwoo said all shy.

"Wonwoo, honestly, I never saw you as my friend. Why? Because I fell for you on the very first of the college when you were adjusting your glasses and trying to find your class." Mingyu told him and cheers could be heard from the crowd.

Just then Seungcheol and Jeonghan entered the hall and seeing the crowd cheering at the scene unfolding in front of them, they both went a step forward.

Jeonghan's heart dropped and he stumbled, but Seungcheol held him tight.
Woozi was on the other side and seeing these two he made his way to his boyfriend's side.

"Hey baby." Woozi purred and Seungcheol couldn't help but peck him on his lips.

"Woozi, I'm scared now." He told his boyfriend who looked at Jeonghan and Mingyu and then slapped his own forehead lightly.

"Sh*t what do we do?" He whispered only for Seungcheol to hear.

Meanwhile...

"Wonwoo, I love you. Will you be my boyfriend?" Mingyu straight out proposed him without beating around the bush.

And to Jeonghan's bad luck....

"I love you too, Mingyu." Wonwoo replied.
