In a time before the end, yet after the beginning, Desire was created. This country was surrounded by either water or The Dark Woods the home of all Deceivers. Before Desire was created, five families split into a war, leaving their children behind. These five children would become the leaders of Desire. Before they left, they gave their children each a single gift and a word written on a scrap of paper.

To the eldest, a book and the word "Wisest". Next in line was given a white rose and the word "Kindest". The middle child was given a knife and the word "Survivor". The next child was given a mirror and the word "Vain". The final child, the youngest in fact, was given a kiss and the word "Love". The parents were killed soon after and the children were left to rule. The eldest two got the humble, kind, knowledgeable, wise and innocent citizens. The middle child was given the rebels, and outcasts. The next child was given the selfish, vapid, and vain. But the youngest didn't want the people. She wanted Him.

He was a man of great wealth and great power in the previous years, but the land now was worthless. He told her he loved her and gave her the gentle kisses one would give a child. He promised her the world, if only she'd oblige to his one request; that he'd rule once rule once she had died, unless of course she bore children. She agreed and we'd him the very next Sunday.

Within a years time, the kingdom flourished and the youngest was with child. Once born, this child would rule the kingdom in case of the unfortunate. One day the child was playing in the garden and He killed her. The youngest was horrified to find her child dead. She vowed that she wouldn't stop until she had found her child's killer.

She hunted at night, preying on the innocent and feasting on their broken carcasses. To this day, she still hunts, and a few of the youth are chosen to be her followers. After this event, after Love had broken the youngest child, the group was named Deceiver. We now call these groups Wisest, Kindest, Survivor, Vain, and Deceiver.
