I Need some time...

Y/N's POV:

I woke up before Giyuu and began getting ready, once I was done in the bathroom I went to make breakfast for me and Giyuu. I felt someone grab my waist from behind. I was startled at first but I calmed down after realizing it was just Giyuu. "Hey, Y/N..." he was very clearly tired so I let him rest on my shoulder. "Hello Giyuu, slept well?" I was trying to remain calm but I was too flustered by the fact he was hugging me. "Mhm..." WHY IS HE SO CUTE!? I calmed myself down to make sure he is comfortable and, hey did he just get heavier? Oh... he fell asleep on my shoulder, I guess I should put him on the couch. I placed a blanket on top of him and resumed my cooking. I could feel my mouth watering at the scent of my delicious pancakes and eggs while I went to wake Giyuu up. " Hey! Wake up!" he groans but sits up anyway to fulfill my request. "I made breakfast if you're hungry," he nodded and went to the kitchen with me. He was silent for a while but I just guessed it was because he was tired. After we were done eating he finally spoke, "Hey Y/N? What are we?..." I stopped doing the dishes "what do you want us to be?" "I-I don't know, I think I need some time..." I understood where he was coming from but those words still hurt. "Take as much time as you need" I was trying my best to put on a warm smile but I think he could tell it was fake, "I'm sorry" he looked upset with himself "It's okay, do you need me to leave" he nodded In response and I left. He seemed a bit confused so I decided to give him some space, after all I can relate to how he's feeling. I just hope he understands how far I'll go for him...

Giyuu's POV:

I feel bad for asking Y/N to leave but I really needed some space. I feel like I need to talk to someone but I don't have anyone to go to other than Y/N and I already asked her to leave so it's too late for that. I wish she were here right now. 

I stayed home all day, I guess there were no missions for me. I still feel guilty for asking Y/N to leave. I began making a salad for dinner, starting with cutting the lettuce, and then- "Come on, you know it helps" I quickly turned around but no one was there, I guess it was just my imagination. "Go on, you know it feels good" I saw Tsutako behind me along with Y/N, Sabito, and Makomo, holding my hand with the knife and leading it towards my left wrist, "do it......... DO IT!"

Y/N's POV:

I was walking outside when a hashira meeting was called. I ran towards the Ubuyashiki estate, I wonder what happened. Once I arrived I realized that I was the only one there so I had to wait for the others to arrive. Not long after all the hashira were there except for Giyuu, maybe he's just late, I was trying my hardest to stay optimistic but it was quite difficult. "Master has arrived" The twins spoke in complete harmony, it was a little creepy but I was getting used to it, "hello my children... I sense that one of you is not here. Who could that be?" The hashira seemed confused for a second then soon realized Giyuu wasn't there. " It's Tomioka-San, master!" a very short girl, Shinobu, said. She looks happier than usual. She seems very annoying. After a moment of silence the master spoke up, "Y/N, I hear you and Giyuu get along well, can you search for him?" "very well master." I began walking towards his estate, I hope nothing bad happened.

I knocked on the door but there was no response, I decided to check the window in case he just fell asleep but instead I saw Giyuu just standing in the kitchen with a knife nearly halfway through his arm. It was a horrifying sight to see, there was crimson red blood all over the counter, his arm, and even on the floor. I burst through the door and walk up to him slowly as to not startle him when suddenly he collapsed, luckily I was already close and was able to catch him...

Giyuu's POV:

I woke up on my couch, "How did I get here...?" I mumbled to myself, that's when I saw Y/N sitting on the floor staring at me, waiting for me to wake up. "Y/N.." I felt a gentle slap along my face, one that shows she cares but still shows she was mad at me. "Y/N..." I began tearing up "I'm sorry!" I was practically sobbing at this point, I can't remember the last time I let it out in front of someone, but her warmth and caring personality made it easier to tell her things. I felt her pull me into a warm hug. She held on to me like I was important, like I meant something to her... I felt even more tears stream down my face and soon I was wailing. She comforted me and told me everything was going to be okay. That's when I realized that she will always be there for me as long as she's alive. That's when I realized, I really did love her.
