What we do to survive

chapter 2

Then the unexpected happened...

      The squishing of the small crystals in the sky was becoming more intense looking like it could burst at any moment."wait! If it were to burst  would we survive it?" I thought. Then the squishing started making weird noises like a tornado was about to explode.

     The sky was shaking,the ground was shaking violently. Our things started to fall off the wall of our house,at this moment I was beginning to have an heart attack because my brain just couldn't comprehend all this thats happening.

     Everyone started screaming,cursing and shouting.My mum and dad held me and my two younger sister close,we were just sitting in one corner of the hallway waiting for the worst to happen and then we heard a very loud blast...

    "Mum...mum can you hear me?" I called my mum.i don't know what was happening but I was sure I passed out. My mum was laying on the ground not saying a word and my dad? I cant even see him nor did I see my other sister.i started to cry then I remembered what happened last "sky,crystal...was about to explode" I murmured trying to recollect while at the same time hugging my little sister who was trying to open her eyes.

     I ran outside to look at the sky and it was clear like nothing happened,except that the world was not the same.i can't see our house or any buildings around,everywhere was clear like a desert except the endless stepping of water on the ground which I guess the blast caused.

    I walked back to where my sis was nd my mum's body, "how was I going to cope alone without my mum" i wondered crying while hugging my little sis. I sat there on the ground trying to decipher on the next step of action because as it is im sure an apocalypse happened which im guessing from the situation I survived with my little sis.

     "An apocalypse? Is that even possible? Well...there's no better way to explain all this" I thought. My sis was wide awake now and was crying silently because I guessed she's aware of what happened already. I brushed her up nd we started walking to where? I have no idea but I kept moving while taking note of my surroundings.

    The environment was vast like a desert no single building or entity,everywhere was empty like when the world was first created,just small tiny little plant on the ground trying to find live.

   Soon I got tired of walking and sat down with my sister staring at the sky "where are we going to start from?,what are we going to eat?" I thought. All of a sudden I started wishing we didn't survive the apocalypse...
