•Chapter 1 - Realizations•

Marinette was sick of it she had been nice and kind and was more than willing to help her friends even if she didn't get anything in return and it still wasn't enough for them to trust and believe her no they picked anyone over her no matter how long they knew them.

She was depressed and had given up on trying and hoping she needed a way out. Between being Ladybug and her civilian life being tattered and torn apart, she was exhausted. She knew her appearance was concerning, but she just didn't care anymore.

She looked up and saw the school up ahead and checked her phone.

"I'm earlier than normal...," she thought and put her phone back in her purse and went to the classroom to sketch in her doodles notebook she didn't want to bring her other one because she didn't trust the others to leave it alone

Marinette was drawing for a while and heard students walking into the school, so she put her sketchbook away and then put her bag closer to her, and looped her bag's strap around her foot so the students couldn't take it easily.

-When the other students arrived-

Alya and the others walked in and glared at Marinette. Marinette glanced at them and then saw Lila "Oh look the lying wolf and her brainless sheep have returned," Marinette said and it was out before she could stop it everyone stared at her shocked at how rude she was.

Alya then spoke up, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Marinette rolled her eyes. "You're gonna make me explain, aren't you fine," Marinette finished talking and walked up to the front of the room with her stuff and then turned to face them.

"Lila, could you come up here?" Marinette said, already done with this day.

"Sure, Marinette!" Lila said, walking up to the front of the room

Marinette grabbed her phone and opened an app. "Say Lila, would you say Google is there to help you and answer or fact-check things?" Marinette said, typing on her phone

Lila seemed a bit confused. "Uh, yeah? You should always fact-check things so you aren't being tricked!" Lila said, her voice sickeningly sweet

Marinette smiled and turned to everyone "Well then let's fact-check your trips and everything you claim you've done like your visit in Achoo surely the prince would've said his friend was visiting or he would've told Rose right?," Marinette said turning to Rose now

Rose looked shocked and started googling fact-checking Lilas's claim

Lila panicked, realizing she walked into a trap "Oh uh he wanted to keep it out of the public eye so I wasn't disturbed!" Lila said, trying to save her reputation

Marinette turned to her. "Then why didn't he inform his friend Rose?," Marinette said while typing on her phone

Lila went wide-eyed "I asked him not to of course I'm sorry Rose I didn't want to hurt your feelings by making it seem like I was more liked!" Lila said trying to cover her tracks

Rose spoke up, "But you're the one who video-called us, so you already were telling us you were there..."

Lila panicked. "I'm sorry! My parents were keeping me at home and not letting me go to school. I was desperately trying to convince them that the Akumas were under control, but they wouldn't believe me! So I made it seem like I was on vacation, so y'all wouldn't worry or feel bad for me! It was killing me lying to y'all. I'm sorry! " She said, trying to save herself

Alya stood up. "How do we know you're not lying now? You lied deliberately it wasn't your disease this time!" she shouted mad

Lila started fake crying. "I'm sorry! I didn't want to make you mad!" She said
