To the stars and back.

Chapter 1 - The Reunion of an old friendship.

{Uki Pov}:

                I woke up at around 6:30 am while classes started around 8am. "Godamnit.. I woke up too early again.." I cursed at myself. I normally only take 30 minutes to get ready for school and I live in the dorms so I don't need much time to get to class either but lately I have been waking up too early.. "Tch.. I guess I can just study for now.." I mumbled to myself once again as I got up from my bed. I got ready for school before studying so I wouldn't have to get ready later. Once I finished getting ready I sat at my desk at the time. "Alright, I have 45 minutes to study." I said opening up my book, putting my glasses on and starting to study.

                 "Wow.. It's already 7:45.. Time goes by fast.." I said to myself, getting up and walking out of my dorm, closing it and locking it before going to class. I walked through the hallways, they were filled with flowers, stars, posters, anything they could fit onto the walls. I always liked to look at the stars on the walls as stars were my most favorite things in the whole world. Would that ever change? Maybe, but I won't find out now. I got to my class 10 minutes before it started. I noticed that there was a seat next to my desk now.

                  "Hm? New student?" I thought to myself and went up to my friend to ask, "Hey Alban?.. Is there a new student today?.."

                  "Oh! Uki! Yea there is! I think his name is Fulgur?" Alban Responded to me waving at the same time. "Ful..ger?.." I teared up a bit. "Uhh Yeah! Is everything ok Uki?" "Ye-yea.." I said walking to my seat and putting my head down. I was about to fall asleep when the teacher came in. "Alright class, today we have a new student." The teacher said as the new student walked in and introduced himself.

                  "Hello! My name is Fulgur and I hope we can be friends!" Fulgur said. "Alright Fulgur, you can sit next to Uki!" The teacher said, I looked up and raised my hand. My eyes met Fulgur and I saw the sadness in his eyes, almost like mine. I waved slightly at him and smiled before putting my head down again. Fulgur walked over to me and spoke, "Uki.. Is.. Is it really you?.."

                  "Yes... Yes Fufu-chan.. I-t.. is me.." I said muffled, calling him by his nickname I gave him, as I felt him sit down and put his hand on my back rubbing it. "Uki... I missed you.."

                  "I missed you too.." I said finally getting up showing my face that was filled with tears as I hugged him.

{Fulgur Pov}:

                  "Oh Uki.. If you keep crying I'll start crying too.." I whispered to Uki as I started to tear up hugging him back. "Uki.. Let's talk after class.. You can ask me anything then and I'll answer them all. Alright?.." I said softly, trying to calm him down. "O-Ok.." Uki replied, getting up and wiping his eyes. I smiled at Uki as he faced the front of the class once again and started paying attention to the teacher. I stared at him for a few more seconds before paying attention to the teacher too.

{Time skip: After Class | Uki Pov}:

                 "Fufu-chan... Why'd you leave me... You were the only one I had left after... You know.." I started tearing up again at the thought of having a good friend that had to move across the world, with no communication.. Only a simple 'Goodbye'. Their name was Yugo.. "Uki... I'm sorry.. I didn't want to leave you, I swear.. It wasn't my choice... My dad had gotten a new job at that time and I was too young to stay here alone.. I'm sorry Uki.." Fulgur had told me, starting to hug me softly, slowly getting tighter and tighter. "..Y-you.. Could've.. St-stayed with me..." I said stuttering while trying to calm down with breathing to the tempo of his heartbeat. "Oh Uki... I know.. But you know he wouldn't let me.."

                 "Right.." I said as I almost fell asleep from crying twice already. "Tired?.." Fulgur asked me softly while holding me up from falling. I only responded with a nod. He spoke again, "Go to sleep I'll be right next to you the whole time.. Where's your dorm?.." He whispered to me. "It's the first dorm to the right after you go past the hallway with the stars and flowers.." I said as I fell asleep saying the last part. I only felt Fulgur picking me up and kissing my forehead before I had fully fallen asleep.
