It was a silent and bare day in the sekai for Miku as always. She strolled around the seemingly infinite sekai while humming until she noticed someone. A light pink-haired person wandering the mysterious place aswell, they had an expression that resembled that of a lost kid in a crowded place. Miku approached the wanderer.

"Mizuki." She muttered out which made Mizuki jumped. They were dissociating and didn't expect anyone to approach them but as soon as Miku appeared they had that forced bright and cheery face. "Ah..- didn't expect you here, Miku!~" They spoke out quickly, putting on a facade but Miku saw right through that. "What's bothering you?" Mizuki didn't expect that answer and was stunned. "Huh?.. Think you're overthinking, Miku~. Nothing's going on!" They laughed albeit a bit awkward and forced. Miku wasn't going to easily budge, though. She kept pressing Mizuki about it until they finally gave in.

"Ahaha..- what's getting you so worked up, Miku?.." Mizuki said, trying to figure out a way to avoid this inevitable conversation. "What's bothering you?" Miku still kept asking over and over again to which Mizuki finally cave in. "I'm.. i'm worried of how they would think of me once they knew.." The enigmatic person said. Miku sat down and gestured Mizuki to do so aswell. Sitting down, Mizuki followed up their sentence with, "It's just.. I worked so hard to be with them.. I don't want them to leave me once i tell- or worse, ridicule me..". "I wish i never have to but it's inevitable." They spoke out with a despaired look before suddenly standing up, "Ah-.. but who cares about the feelings of lil' ol' me, right..?" they had a small sad smile on their face. "I should go now.. see you later, Miku" The pink-haired uttered. "Ah-.. Mizuki-" The robotic voice tried to spoke up but by the time she did Mizuki had already left.

"..." A figure standing still in the middle of a pink and cutely decorated room, a blank expression plastered onto their face. There was a bunch of notification on nightcord but they didn't cared. Sighing, they got onto the bed and pulled the covers before finally dozing off.

It's been a few days now since that incident. Mizuki haven't been responding to any of the members worried messages or work on their MV's. Their big secret has always been in their mind but usually is far away but lately it keeps popping up more as they spend more time with their friends. They couldn't bring themself to enjoy having fun with their friends and pretending everything is just fine. They couldn't bear lying to their friends, especially Mafuyu, anymore but at the same time they fear what would happen if they told them.

It was evening, Mizuki was sitting on a bench at the park to get fresh air. "This would be a nice place to have picnic with them" Mizuki thought to themself. As Mizuki was about to leave they spotted someone with dark purple hair tied up into a high ponytail. "Mafuyu.." They quietly muttered, smiling with a hint of red on their cheeks. Realizing what would happen if Mafuyu spot them, they quickly speed walk away from the spot. By this point, Mafuyu noticed the missing pink-haired person and quickly tried to catch up with them.

Mizuki tried their best to get away from the situation but not make it too obvious that they are running away. Alas, Mafuyu caught up and put a hand onto the pink-haired person's shoulder. Mizuki jolted, "Woah-.. Mafuyu?? Didn't see you here!" They muttered out pretending like they hand't noticed. Mizuki didn't mind seeing Mafuyu, if anything was happy about seeing her. "...Are" Mafuyu trying to muster up some words while still holding Mizuki's shoulder. "Where have you been? Ena keeps spamming you and Kanade is getting worried" She said, with a blank expression.

"Sorry about that.. It's just.. i have a lot on my mind right now" Mizuki replied. "I see, do you wanna talk about it?" Mafuyu asked. Mizuki was hesitant at first but reluctantly nodded, they then both sat at a nearby bench. It was really awkward, no one was saying a word to one-another. Mafuyu looked at Mizuki's face, breaking the silence she said, "So?". "Mafuyu.. this might sound a bit weird, but.." Mizuki finally spoke out, "Would there be like.. something about me if, hypothetically, i told you about.. you would leave me?" This question made Mafuyu dumbfounded. As Mafuyu looked up to think of it more Mizuki interrupts her, "Sorry, i guess that was weird, ahaha-" Mizuki then got cut off themself, "No, it's fine. I get it" Mafuyu thought long and hard for an answer. "I can't think of anything" Mafuyu answered their question. "Ah, of course.." Mizuki mumbled out with a faded smile.

"But," Mafuyu spoke out which piqued Mizuki's interest, "Whatever that thing is.. i wouldn't leave you for it. I don't believe any of us would" Mafuyu said, looking at nowhere. This made Mizuki smile a bit.

But even then, the thought was still there..

It overwhelmed Mizuki. "Oh well would you look at the time!~ It's pretty late, i should go ba-" Before being able to walk away someone grabbed one of their hands which made Mizuki blush, "Wait". "I want to make sure you're okay" She said, "I don't want you to dissapear again". Those words completely broke Mizuki. Tears started forming around the corner of their eyes, trying to  be composed as possible having their back face Mafuyu, "Don't worry, seriously! I'm feeling better already having this talk with you"

That was a lie.

"I'll log back in with you guys today, promise!~" Mizuki said with a cheerful tone, hoping that Mafuyu didn't notice there was a tear drop rolling down on their cheek. "Promise?" The dark purple-haired replied.

Promise.

Mafuyu let go of their hand. "Ok then, see you soon" The dark purple-haired girl said giving a genuine but small smile before dissapearing into the darkness, leaving Mizuki standing alone. "See you too later.." They muttered out while quietly sobbing.
