As we walked to our first class, I took a moment to observe my friends. Evan, my friend since first grade, always had a gentle smile on his face. Elizabeth, his younger sister whom I met in second grade, was lively and full of energy. Cassidy, whom Evan introduced me to in the hallway, had a calm presence. Levi, our new friend from fifth grade, had been getting bullied but we stood by him and became close friends. I noticed the way Evan and Elizabeth interacted with each other, their expressions and gestures revealing their closeness. Cassidy walked quietly beside us, but her occasional glances around showed that she was paying attention to her surroundings. Adding sensory details to the scene could make it feel even more vivid. It was our first day of middle school, and Evan and I shared most of our classes while Elizabeth, Cassidy, and Levi had all their classes together. As we parted ways to head to our respective classes, Evan and I waved goodbye to our friends.

We entered our classroom and sat down beside each other. Suddenly a girl hugged Evan from behind, Neither I or Evan knew who it was so we both looked behind us to see Leah she was Evans's friend but I hated her because she would keep Clinging onto Evan and take him away from me when we were talking. "hi evan~" she said while smiling. "uh hi Leah?" even said while looking slightly annoyed by her voice". "ATTENTION CLASS IS STARTING SOON" yelled our teacher. Leah just rolled her eyes and sat down behind me and Evan. About 45 minutes later It was time for lunch, As I and evan got up leah asked "hey can I sit with yall at lunch?" "sure" Evan said as I rolled my eye and walked to the cafeteria. I got into the lunch line and got my food. I was about to sit next to Evan but Leah slightly shoved me away and sat next to him. I groaned and sat next to Levi and started eating. Leah was just clinging onto Evan and started to slightly flirt with him. I rolled my eyes and continued to eat my food. Leah looked at me and smirked and she mouthed 'hs mine' to me. I was about to yell at her but Levi gripped my shoulder and whispered "She's not worth it girl." I stood up and walked away to throw my food away and walked back to the table to see Leah kissing Evan. Evan pushed her away and yelled "What the hell Leah! I told you I'm not into you I'm dating her!" he said while pointing to me. Leah got up and ran away crying as I sighed and followed her feeling bad because Evan yelled at her. "hey are you ok?" "no nobody wants to date me!" she said while crying into her hands. I hugged her and said, "Hey it's okay you don't have to date anyone right now maybe try dating someone later this year." She hugged back and nodded "Thanks and sorry for trying to steal your boyfriend." "It's okay, and hey we should be friends" Leah smiled and nodded

After school, Leah apologized to Evan for flirting with him And he said sorry for yelling at her. We walked Levi, Cassidy, and Leah home. As I and even walked up to his house Elizabeth ran inside. evan turned to me smiling and he hugged me "Bye! See you tomorrow!" he kissed my cheek and ran inside his house waving bye. I sighed and walked home smiling happy and hoping to have a good day tomorrow like I had today.
