"Josh!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. When you open the freezer expecting vanilla ice-cream and end up getting mashed potatoes someone's going to get it. I walked up the stairs full of anger and steam. "What the heck?" I asked which sounding more like a question than statement. "What?" He asked in between chuckles. "Start talking," was all I said. "I'm going to give you a headstart," I continued. "Headstart for what?" he asked clueless, "Wait, no fair, you're an athlete!" he shouted getting up from his bed and running down the stairs. After counting to five trying to blow off steam, which clearly didn't work I ran down the stairs. "Dumborina, where are you?" I asked trying to find him.

"Not cool, Kenz," He said coming from under the countertop. "What? Everybody has secrets. Yours is just weird. So what, a lot of dudes want to be ballerinas," I said in between laughs. "Just do a twirl," I said trying to get him upset, "You're the prettiest ballerina I've ever seen." I continued, now laughing until I was full blown on the floor. "Are you guys alright?" My eldest sister, Lily, asked. "Josh, you look like you are about to finally pop the vein that reveals itself when you get angry, so chill. Let's walk." She demanded walking towards the door. When you live in Florida you have no care in the world about bringing a coat outside. Just as Josh was about to go through the door she stopped him, "Who said I was talking to you?" she asked him rudely. "I was talking to Kenzi," she confirmed while pushing me out the door. While walking out of the apartment onto a curb she started talking about boys. "Do you like somebody?" She asked plainly.  This seemed as if we were going to have 'the talk.' which I totally hate. "No," I lied, I have no idea why I lied because Lily always knows when I was lying, she was like a human behaviourist. "You are so lying," She said and with that I confessed. "There's this guy," I started, "No kidding, Einstein," she said annoyed. "I was in detention with him," I rushed saying not wanting her to hear the dentention part. Unfortunately, she did. "What! You got in detention?" she shouted for everyone to see and hear, and the worse part, I couldn't run away. Second worst part she knows where I live, the room right next to hers. And for more embarrassment, guess what happened next? Jake Ryan showed up, how delightful. "I heard that she was in detention because she was caught making out with, the King Of Nerds, Emmit Weeling." He lied while chuckling. "Dude, if you are going to make out with someone, do it with a hot guy, what have I taught you?" My sister said right then and there. "Exactly, your sister has a point, you know," He agreed while slinging his hand over my shoulder.
This guy still cant take a hint, GOSH!
"Jake, what are you doing here?" I inquired. "Babe, can't you just relax?" He replied."I guess this is my cue to leave, have fun, " my sister said, winking at me. "No stay, please" I begged but she was already gone. "Since we're alone, what do you want to do," he asked while wiggling his eyebrows. "To make me happy, you can go back to where you came from," I whispered close to his ears, which I'm pretty sure gave have him tingles. "I can't go back to where I came from until you let me inside your pants", he requested looking me from top to bottom. "Dude, could you just leave me alone?" I asked politely while walking away. This time he didn't stop me, I went home on my own free will. On my way I got a call from Alex, my best friend from way back who moved to Arizona when his father got a new job. "Hey Cindy," he said chirpily over the other line of the call,"I have awesome news and awful  news, which do you want first?" He asked. "What's the awful news and stop calling me Cindy?" I asked, "It's not bad news it's just awful news," he said with a bit of annoyance in his voice.
