x. THERE WAS not a cloud in the sky on this bright, sunny day. Even those who didn't allow themselves to indulge in such trivial things could feel the peaceful atmosphere filling the bright sky, shrouding them in a blanket of warmth. The user of Limitless and Six Eyes himself, Gojo Satoru, a man deemed as the 'strongest,' which in terms of raw power were technically true, even felt the rays of the warm sun against his pale face. Whilst students and staff of Tokyo Jujutsu High didn't think anything of the change in weather, as it was the month of June, Satoru felt otherwise towards the lingering brightness of the sun, hence his calculated steps towards the outskirts of the Tengen barrier. I'm just investigating this hunch, Satoru reminded himself. Perhaps I'm wrong. But why would the strongest's intuition be off?

Satoru's steps were prideful, large but muffled as the bottom of his shoes touched the grass of the campus he walked. Through his blindfolded eyes, Satoru could see the beauty that resided in this fine summer day. The gentle breeze sweeping over his cheeks and the sweet smell of grass grazed beneath his nostrils. He knew this overabundance and overwhelming feeling of peace that loomed over the grounds of Jujutsu High that summer day was a first in history. It wasn't a feeling many Jujutsu Sorcerers got to experience, the work of a sorcerer was never rewarding in that aspect, but everyone could feel it. Something's wrong, Satoru thought again. Everyone, even him, inside the barrier was overcome with this particular feeling of peace, causing tremendous happiness to flow through themselves. Yet, Satoru was the only one unable to succumb to the positive feeling. A larger, more intense pit lingered in his stomach. And it only grew the further he got from campus, closer to the edge of the Tengen barrier.

A few green leaves fell from the trees above, blowing in the wind until they rested upon the ground meters away from the very branch they broke off from, a symbolic sign that the everlasting feeling of the world spinning on its axis had stopped then. Nothing mattered. No one mattered but this feeling of peace blossoming within the chests of Jujutsu Sorcerers under the barrier on this unusually bright summer day. Satoru's chest tightened when the peaceful sensation forcibly settle over him, filling his body and spilling over. It was emotions he hadn't felt for a long time, perhaps even at all. This isn't right, Satoru reminded himself. Not because they were emotions he couldn't regulate, but because Satoru hadn't felt peace. Not once. Not even for a millisecond. Yet, his body was being forced to accept these emotions like they were his own. They weren't.
