My cold but sweet guard

CHAPTER ONE

  MICHEAL'S POV...

    I opened my eyes as blinding light shone against my eyelids.What in the world? I sat up and realized I was sitting in a queen sized bed covered in silk coverings.The door flew open and an elegant couple walked in gracefully as three guards followed behind them.I raised a brow and tilted my head to the side,blinking a few times.

They are really wearing  such amount of silk?Are those crowns? I was slapped out of my thoughts when the lady ran to me and pulled me into a tight hug,peppering me with kisses.''Oh my goodness!Michael you got us so scared.Never get too close to a lycan again.I would have lost my only son.''she wailed sobbing as she pressed my head against her chest

     I felt a little bad.I didn't even know what happened.The only thing I could remember was being pushed off a building by my ex girlfriend and my best friend and falling,cursing myself.I never felt this love of a mother before cause my mother left my dad and could not take me with her.I started to cry without even realizing it.Have I been reborn?Did the heavens give a second chance? I kept thinking to myself.The lady patted my back and comforted me till i eventually fell asleep.

     After a week,I fully recovered.It turns out,I am a prince of a really big and powerful kingdom,Aliech.I was the only son among three sisters and heir to the throne as well as the youngest.The king and queen treated us all equally and I formed a really close relationship with my sisters.

One day as I and my third sister,Adelina were practicing our sword swings,defends and attacks,My first two sisters,Avice and Elena walked into the courtyard we were training in.''Good afternoon elder sisters.''I stopped and paid them their due respect.My first sister,Avice smiled sweetly as she strode towards me and pulled my into a tight hug.''You are too respectful and cute!I just hopped you haven't been making mischief lately''she raised a brow and stared at me.

     I shook my head and batted my eyes innocently.Maybe I was misbehaving a bit? At that instant,my guard,Daren ran passed us screaming at the top of his lungs.I looked away as Adelina and Elena grabbed a big bowl of water and dumped it all over him.

The moment he calmed down ,he muttered something about ghost peppers and passed out.All three of them turned to stare at me in disbelief.''Um...I think we should take care of him''I announced pointing at the guard.Later that night,I got a real scolding from dad.I pouted as mom placed her hands on his arm trying to calm him down.''looks like I have no choice''

      My jaw dropped.''No!I refuse to let him be my new guard!Never!''I screamed as Elena held me close to her and cooed ''Little brother.It's for your own good.Just let it be''.Dad had actually just left me in the care and protection of his most coldest and meanest guards,Dominic Temples.What a pleasant way to sure be reborn! Dominic walked closer to me and my sister let me go.He was towering over me and I felt chills down my spine as his icy purple eyes peeked through his clean white hair.I gulped.''I am so dead''
