This doesn't really relate to fanfics, but ill see if i can tie something together.
I recently saw that Lisa of Blackpink performed as Crazy Horse Burlesque show. The comments on the video I saw were atrocious and they were so quick to drop her as fans. The second a female idol is seen as a woman they are dropped, this stems from the infantilization of idols. We (people) try to parent idols and control them as some sort of weird fetish. They are sexualized like children are... fr. its weird.
