Chapter 2

*In the morning*

Beat: *Wakes up and looks at Note before sitting up slowly on the medical bed, groaning*

Note: *Wakes up and sees him sitting up, groaning before walking over to him and rubbing his back* "You ok?"

Beat: "Yeah, I'm fine"

Note: "Are you sure?"

Beat: "Yes, I'm sure"

Note: "You know I'm worried about you"

Beat: *Smiles at her* "I know you are"

Note: "Beat, we have to talk"

Beat: "About that kiss? Note, I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable, I didn't mean to"

Note: "Beat, it's ok. You didn't make me feel uncomfortable. It was just too fast for me and we aren't even together. We just need to take it slow. We can start kissing when we become Boyfriend and Girlfriend"

Beat: "I agree"

Note: *Smiles before helping him stand* "Can you stand?"

Beat: "Yeah, I think so"

Note: "C'mon, let's go to the others"

Beat: "Ok"

*Living Room of Capsule Corp*

Note: "Bulma, Beat woke up!"

Bulma: "Good, sit him on the couch"

*Note helps sit Beat on the couch*

Bulma: *Checks Beat's body* "He's still gonna be out for a few months but he's healing very fast. Also, I will need someone to watch over him at all times"

Note: "I'll watch over him"

Bulma: "Thanks Note"

Goku: "Me and Vegeta will be at The Kame house"

*Everybody except Note and Beat leaves*

Note: "Beat?"

Best: *Asleep*

Note: *Smiles and puts his head in her lap before playing with his hair* "Aww Beat, I'm going tease you with this so much. Get some rest" *She kisses his head*

*A few minutes later*

Beat: *Wakes up and notices that his head is in Note's lap*

Note: *Looks at him with a cute expression* "You were just so cute, I couldn't resist"

Beat: *Smiles before standing up and walking to the kitchen*

Note: *Helps him* "Beat?"

Beat: "Yeah?"

Note: "You do know that no matter what happens, I'll always be around you, here to help, whatever you need, I'm here, ok?"

Beat: "Thanks Note and the same goes for you too!"

Note: *Touches Beat's deep scar* "Does it still hurt?"

Beat: *Winces in pain* "Yeah"

Note: *Gently rubs over the wound, making Beat quiet down*

Beat: "Thanks Note"

*A few minutes later, they watch the news and see that Goku Black is Back and is destroying the city*
