His steps were unstable, he was holding onto the walls trying not to fall. He slowly made his way to the kitchen, a glass of water would be great.

A door opened suddenly. Zoro hoped it wasn't Sanji, he did not want to listen to his lectures at the moment. "Zoro? What are you doing up so late?" The greenate quickly recognized the voice. It was his captain, his first and only love, the reason he was drinking tonight in the first place. "I was out drinking" he continued to walk -as much as he could- torwads the kitchen. "Ah, I see. Need any help?" Luffy appeared next to him. "Just some water" he replied.

His captain took his arm around his neck to carry him "Captain, I can walk by myself" the other chuckled. He wasn't exactly complaining or asking him to let go, he loved being close to him. "It's okay!" He simply answered and started talking about his long day. "It was soooo boring without you on the ship. Nami forced me to do chores while her and Robin 'painted their nails' " he mimicked a feminen voice "and then... what happened after? Oh yeah, me, chopper and usopp played hide and seek, then it was lunch time. Sanji made so much food and I ate it all! After that I slept on the ship's deck. I just woke up from my nap to pee" he sat the other on the chair near the table.

"Well at least you played hide and seek" Zoro held his head that hurt like a bitch. Everything was spinning. "Yeah, I guess. I missed you, though!" Luffy said happy to see his friend again. He approached the cabinet to get a cup. "I miss you every second you're not with me" the greenate looked his way calmly, amazed with himself by what he had just said. Seems the alcohol was really kicking in. "That's so sweet, Zoro" the raven turned to look his way as he filled the cup with water from the sink.

He placed it on the table next to the swordman "Captain..." he muttered under his breath but Luffy catched it. "What is it?" He questioned titling his head. "You're the reason why I got drunk today" the smile on luffy's face disappeared. "Oh... did I... did I do anything wrong?" His mood completely changed, he hated when he caused problem to his friends. "You're always on my mind, Luffy" he grabbed his wrist and harshly pulled him closer "Captain..." he rubbed his thumb on luffy's flashed cheek while the raven looked down at him. "Zoro, why are you acting (a/n: gay) strange? Is it bad to be on your mind?" The short man stayed still, didn't back away, didn't move closer. He had a sense of pain in his voice. "Yeah... it is" Zoro responded unfazed.

"But you're also on my mind. When I asked Nami about it she said it's normal. She said if I kept it a secret it wouldn't be a problem" some tears formed in the corners of his eyes. He hated feeling this way torwards his first mate but he had long realized he could do nothing to prevent it. He really didn't like being this funny, weird- silly- call it what you want with his crew mate.

Zoro noticed the tears slowly running down his cheeks. His heart felt a tight squize. "What are you crying for, captain?" He wiped some tears away. "Is it cause I'm a boy? It's that, isn't it? That's why you don't like thinking about me" his tears increased. "Do you mean, you want me to think about you?" The older asked surprised. "Yes? I like you, isn't it obvious? Since the day I first saw you" he wiped his own tears away while the other stayed frozen. "I was in... an awful condition back then" he chuckled cringing at the memory.

Despite Zoro trying to lighten the mood Luffy continued to cry. He truly looked upset which made Zoro upset, he didn't wanna see the other fall in such mood. "Why is it bad, Zoro? Why is it bad to like you? Nami told me to keep it a secret but I can't do it anymore. I want to... I want you to know. I want you to feel the same way!" The raven boy broke down crying in the arms of his trustworthy right hand man. He was the reason he was crying but at the same time his only comfort at the moment.

"Secret, you said?" He sat Luffy on his lap moving away the tears from his sweet eyes. "We can keep secrets between us, right?" He sweetly rubbed his back trying to calm him down and he succeed. "Mhm" he mustered up from all the whining. "I really do like you. I've began to fall for you, Luffy. Since you like me as well then... that means only one thing" he brought him closer to him. Their lips were a few inches away only. "That means we are... a thing?" Luffy questioned grabbing gently Zoro's face ready to have his first kiss. "Actions speak louder than words" the greenate said and within seconds smashed their lips together.
