THE RESTAURANT

Y/N pov:

I got up from the bed while observing each and every inch of the room,we are present in. It looked precisely similar to our room but with a little touch of Korean things.

Such as the structure of our bed,kitchen, balcony,etc. It's different yet same.

Then I peeked from the balcony and boom everything looks atrocious.
The modern feels of the city has changed into typical rural way.

Our university no longer exist where it was earlier.

She said while stretching her body and roaming around the house.

You're right but what if people finds us different from them. Like I just saw them from the balcony and their clothes is ten times contrasting than us. I blurted being agitated.

So what it's not like they will kill us or something. Plus I think they will not mind us. I mean they look so busy in their own business. Don't think too much. Let's go!

I feel like we are being a DAREDEVIL.
HOWEVER I CAN'T LET HER GO ALL ALONE!
DAMN!

We walked through the usual road and people did looked at us as an ODDBALL.

It was creepy but my dear friend gave zero fucks to them while I was being a shrinking violet.

After walking for a long distance we came across a small restaurant. I stopped y/f/n indicating it's time to eat something while placing my hands on the starving stomach.

Do we have money? She asked and I showed her my best puppy eyes.
Show this to the owner and not me! She scoffed.
Y/f/n, how about we eat and ask them if we could do the dishes instead of paying money?  I suggested with hope in my eyes.
I m not doing the dishes,you will do it. Alright? I scrunched my nose but nodded because I m hungry as hell.

Yn,you do know that you never had done dishes! She chuckled and entered the restaurant.

Oh goodness,look we have two beautiful customers. What would you like to have young ladies? The halmeoni(grandma) asked us.

Halmeoni,before ordering the food can I ask you one thing? My friend inquired.

Yeah sure,my child. The halmeoni replied with pure sweetness.

We both are high schoolers and our family is dead. We make a small living but currently we are penniless. So could you let us wash the dishes after we are done with eating the food. She spoke so effortlessly even I could believe her at the instance.

The halmeoni took a pause,while I saw her eyes taking tear up.

My dear children, you don't have to do the dishes. Just eat what you want and pay me when you get a good job. Does this sound good?

Both of us became speechless.

Halmeoni,I don't see much workers here? How about you hire us here for a part time job? This time I spoke while my friend's eyes widened.

Such beautiful ladies like you wanna work here? She questioned.

Halmeoni work is work,no matter what it is or where it is. So if you're okay with the deal we can proceed further. Y/f/n announced.

You both are so determined and I m honoured to have you here. Wait I will talk with my son and let you know.Till then please give your order. She replied.

Can we get a hamburger with french fries and coke?
And as soon as I m done speaking she looked puzzled.

Pardon? What you just said? I never heard that before. The halmeoni exclaimed.

Then what do you have here? My friend asked.

Oh we have alot of freshly made dishes from the vegetables and fruits that grows in our farm.
The speciality of our restaurant is the delicious strawberry milkshake and blue berry pancakes. She chirped while blowing her own trumpet.

Yes we would love to have that.  I said enthusiastically.

And she went away while we both couldn't believe what we just did.

You really wanna work here? Do you even know how to talk with people? My friend mocked me.

Isn't it a good idea to improve myself? On top of that we will earn money too. Don't we need it to survive? I added.

Yn,we don't know where we are. Also we are unknown to the fact that how long we are going to be here. In this situation we should find a way to go back not to stay here and do a part time job. 

She surely didn't liked my idea,more over she gotta a point too.

But how will we find a way?

Y/f/n , I know you're right and please calm down. How about we work here until we find a solution for our problem?

She just nodded her head being annoyed with the current situation.

You said we are high schoolers,what if she asks us about the school name?  I questioned to enlighten the mood.

I don't know,but it's a good question. How about PABO INTERNATIONAL? Sounds good for people like us. And here is her old self back.

This is the thing I admire the most in her. She can make any situation go easy just joking and making me laugh hard.

No but seriously we need to come up with a good name. I muttered.

Let's eat first and then we will continue to wander arround the area and get a school name too.

And at the same time our order was placed on the table.

I was about to thank the person but he flew away quickly.

The food was too delicious and we eat a lum some amount.

The halmeoni came near us and asked about the food. We thanked her and gave sincere praisings to the food.

I m happy you liked the food. And also my son gave permission to hire you both. You guys can join from tomorrow. My grandson will tell you about the rest of the thing.

And then came her grandson. We looked at him and I fainted on the spot as soon as he showed up.
