Teardrops in the Rain

2 Epic

"Uh, hi?" I say taking him in.
"I'm Epic," he replies shyly, he had fear in his eyes. I wonder why?
"Tena," I say flatly, not wanting to talk make conversation with this strange cat.
"Why are you here?"
"I live in a place called wonderland, I got lost in the jungle and now," he trailed off, a sad expression forming on his face.
"Do you, uh, want me to help you? I know this jungle like the back off my paw," I stomp my paw down for good measure.
His face lit up,
"Really? You would do that?"
"Of course, but we better get going we are losing daylight,"
And with that we set off.
