Chapter 27: Ogres

"Is that so, Mr. Novoa?" Svetlana smirked as she saw the flickering of scarlet within his eyes.

"Yes," Jax hissed and watched cruelly as his dark blue magic knocked Svetlana across the room, shattering the glass coffee table.

"I have to admit," Svetlana smirked, wiping the blood from the side of her lips. "That was quite impressive."

"But not as impressive as my talents," Svetlana smirked as she summoned a seven foot tall ogre.

The seven foot tall ogre showed no mercy as he whacked Jax across the room through several bedrooms

"You see, Jax." Svetlana teased him. "Ogres are very temperamental creatures."

"And you know what the best thing about an ogre is?" She asked rhetorically as the seven foot muscular ogre joined her side.

"They show no mercy." Svetlana's black eyes bore into his eyes.

"Sick him," She cackled and the ogre roared, ready to smash Jax to oblivion.
