Tubbo stumbled through the forest, his breathing panicked. He finally stopped his hurried escape when he realized that the sun was setting... and he was lost. He whimpered.

Tubbo's ears twitched when he heard something that sounded eerily like a zombie groaning. He quickly searched his inventory and realized he had dropped his only weapon with Wilbur. The only thing Tubbo had to his name was a handful of potatoes and a shield. His only option was to run.

He risked a glance behind him, and saw the green-skinned monsters shuffling toward him. He immediately took off running. He leapt over logs and zigzagged around trees. A skeleton's arrow whizzed past his ear.

Tubbo was running low on food, health, and stamina. Just when he thought nothing else could go wrong, he was cornered against a ravine.

He pulled out his shield, knowing that this would most probably end in his death. If he had to die though, he would rather go out fighting. Tubbo punched a few zombies, knocking them back. An arrow hit his shield from an unseen skeleton.

Then, Tubbo heard the dreaded hiss of a creeper. He looked around, and saw it on a ledge beside him just milliseconds before it exploded. He tried dodging the blast, but it sent him flying and he landed on a thin ledge more than halfway down the ravine. At least the mobs had lost interest in him now.

Tubbo groaned. It hurt too much for him to sit up, so he just stayed laying there. A sort of peace enveloped him as he stared up at the stars. Eventually, he drifted off to sleep.

He didn't know how much time had passed until he woke up with a start. Tubbo was sure that he had heard something. The crunching of rocks being walked on or a person whispering. He looked around frightfully, but couldn't see anything in the dark. Most of the pain was centered in his ribs now, and he had a nearly unbearable headache. Tubbo glared into the darkness, as if expecting an enemy to materialize from thin air. Nothing came. He tentatively started to relax. Then, he heard it again. This time, he was sure that someone or something walking toward him.

Tubbo hurriedly sat up, immediately regretting it. He gasped and wheezed in pain, and each breath only brought more pain.

Then he saw a familiar figure approaching him. He must've been hallucinating from the pain. The red bandana, blond hair and blue eyes. There was no way...

"T-T-Tommy?" Tubbo's eyes were unfocused as he looked up at his friend, still trying to catch his breath. Then, he shuddered and collapsed. Instead of the cold hard stone, he felt warm arms wrapping around him. He relaxed into his friend's arms. Tubbo could hear Tommy whispering something in his ear, but it felt so far away. All he knew was that he was safe for now.
