The voice made you feel at ease. To hear her after all this time. To know she was still around. Even if you could never touch her or feel her, she was still here.
Your eyes open but not in the real world. No. You were still asleep. However, there she was.

"I am sorry. It has been so long since I've managed to reach you, my lord." Even as she spoke, her lips didn't move. She was merely a Visage. The reality was, she was just a reflection of a memory that took life. She lived only in your head now, guiding you.
"Reine..." Was all you could say. You felt weak. You felt helpless. You could not move. It seems even in the dream world you had no body.
You tried to remember why your body was gone. Why your voice was failing you. Yet you had no memories other than falling asleep. Then a war that was raging between the world, the dimensions, and the planets.
"My Lord/Lady, you are weak. Yet you must wake up. I am sorry to do this to you. Yet you have slept for many years. The world is in disrepair. The war long over has only sparked more war."
"I could not save your old body. I could not save your power. Forgive me for that, my Lord/Lady. However, I have attained you a new body. You will have to work back all your power. You will have to train and get stronger. You will need to find new bonds and allies. Forgive me."
You wanted to say something. To do something. Yet you found no voice. You found no body to move.
"Do not fret. I will wake you up now. You will wake in a new body. You will wake up new. I will guide you. Yet I can not always be there. Due to your weakened state, I too am weakened. Yet if you should need me, you merely must sleep and call out for me. I shall come and help you as best I can. Now-"
"Reine!" You called out, finally getting a voice again. Yet it was gone as soon as you called out. You wanted to make her wait. To ask her questions.
You didn't have time, she gave you a gentle smile and whispered, "Wake..."
