"I'm gonna have powers! I can read fucking minds!"

"This is the best idea you've ever had" Raejin smiled at Sunoo as she put her straw into her mouth.

"I know, I'm a genius!" Sunoo smiled, sipping his boba.

After walking around the small town for a while, all eight of them were tired and needed something to get their energy up. So, being the genius he is, Sunoo convinced them all to stop the local bubble tea store for some hydration and a snack.

"Lemme try yours, I've never had strawberry" Raejin leaned over and sipped from Sunoo's straw, surprised at how good it was.

"Ew stop flirting" Jay rolled his eyes.

"Yea, right in front of my drink?!" Riki joked, earning laughs from the whole group.

"Guys we should start going, we need to get to the altar as soon as possible" Heeseung said, standing up from his seat. Everyone agreed, and they were back on their path to get Raejins powers back.

"How's this even supposed to work? I just sit on this altar thing and I have my powers back?" Raejin asked.

"Kinda" Jake shrugged, earning a confused glance from Raejin.

"It's that easy?!"

"Yea, the moonlight has to shine at a certain angle on the altar, then you basically get your powers back. You'll be unconscious for a bit, but since your powers are so strong you'll recover fast" Heeseung told her. Raejin smiled and nodded, excited to finally get her powers back.

"Wait, I have a question," She said. The seven of them looked at her and signaled for her to continue. "If more than one person goes onto the altar will they both get their powers? Like maybe... Me and Sunghoon?"

"No one's ever tried it," Jay shrugged. "It could be dangerous though. I wouldn't try it"

"Oh... Well could two people do it in one night?"

"Hell no, the moon only shines in that spot for a minute max, after that it won't shine there again for literal centuries. That's why we REALLY need to get there tonight" Heeseung explained. Raejin nodded, and they continued on their journey to the altar.

"We're here!" Riki yelled running up to the old building. Raejin looked at it, borderline disgusted, then looked back at the others. Seeing her expression they all started laughing and walked closer to the building.

"It's not that bad, I promise," Jungwon laughed. He walked over to the door and walked in signaling for everyone to follow him.

"The altar doesn't look like this, I swear" Sunghoon reassured her as they approached a door that led to a staircase.

They walked down the stairs and into another room that looked like an empty hotel lobby. Raejin was confused to say the least. I mean, how could she just walk into a random trashy building then somehow go down one flight of stairs and then be in a fancy looking place? She looked around the room with her mouth slightly opened, trying to comprehend it.

"Impressed?" Heeseung teased, she could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Yea...what the hell is this?"

"It's like a check in point. See that door? We can't get in without our fingerprints, it's like a security thing" Riki walked over to the door and opened it with his thumbprint, making Raejin look at him like he's some kind of genius.

He laughed seeing her reaction and signaled for her to come over. "It's in here"

"The altar..?"

"Yea, let's go! Are you excited?" Sunoo walked in ahead of her.

"Yes! Duh! I'm...I'm gonna have powers! I can read fucking minds!"

"Hell yea! But uhm...Besides reading minds you're gonna remember everything from your past life. It won't be bad, just a bit shocking" Sunghoon warned her, walking up behind her and putting his hand on her shoulder.

She blushed at his touch, looking at him with her pretty round eyes. It's not like they haven't done more than that before, but she was still getting used to being surrounded by seven hot as fuck vampires that she's somehow known for centuries.

"Yea no, that's fine. I just... I'm nervous. What about you?"

"What do you mean 'what about me'?"

"Your power...I just feel bad, you deserve to have it more than I do!"

"Don't worry, Jinnie-"

"Yea, 'Jinnie'. Don't worry" The seven vampires, along with Raejin all turned their heads to the familiar voice.

"Chaewon?!"
