"Any book worth banning, is a book worth reading"

SONA'S POV:

As we came near to the little wooden hut, but it comes with its very own pumpkin patch and has easy access to the Forbidden Forest. The place gave the vibe of its inhabitant- free and fresh like the first rain. "Why did you even came to this place. This is just where our half-giant teacher, Hagrid stays. I don't even know why He's been kept as a teacher anyways." I glared at Amara at this. If it had been anyone else I would have immediately slapped the person.

I turned to Kate," Kate, do you think the same too?" My voice quivered even though I tried to act normal. "Not really. Its not that I absolutely love his classes but somehow he's quite interesting. I really enjoy them." "Like seriously, why? He always brings on such dangerous creatures without any safety measures." Amara crossed her arms. That was enough.

This lady needs to understand some fundamental things. "If you're scared of dangers, then I think there were many dangerous plants, potions and even spells taught, right? Then how come you are only scared of creatures? And to be truthful the most dangerous creature is man and you know that as well. Its Voldemort" Both of them flinched at the name but remained quiet. "And, you're hating the person who doesn't even remember his mother, cause she just left him with his father when he was just six. Yet look at him, and how much he cares. Just like you hate people who don't show enough respect to books cause you love them, Hagrid does the same too. He loves animals and I don't think that there can be anything wrong with that." When I completed I found Amara standing there like a guilty child, looking at the grass. Finally they nodded and admitted that they would try to be nice to Hagrid and to other creatures as well. I chuckled and brought them into a group hug. No problem, if they're frightened, what would I be of use then?

"You know what-" Kate was saying something when. THUD! A sound distracted us. There's someone around! "Lets go back" Kate whispered. "No, look around for the imposter." I declared. We split and started looking around. The place was small but covered with bushes. That's why Harry and Hermione could hide outside and escape with Buckbeak. But when I was sure to leave it when I noticed a small tiny baby bird on the window sill covered with snow. It looked like a baby chicken to be exact, with a large head without any feathers. It was shivering in the September chills. Its so cute! Must be one of Hagrid's family.

I carefully picked it up and wrapped it in my robes. The others came around reporting they found nothing. "Its so little." Kate replied while the two started to play with it. To our surprise the bird wasn't biting our fingers off or something. It was wriggling around as if the body heat has managed to calm it down. Omaa,(Aww) cutie. You need a name. Till Hagrid arrives, you're mine.

It has large beautiful eyes. Yes! Sparkle! "I'll call it Sparkle." Both of the girls stared at me. "Don't tell me you wanna keep it?" Amara looked at the bird surprised."Haa,(Yes) of course, Why not? Its just a baby." I retorted. Though I wasn't much sure if it was dangerous or not, but still I can't just let it die in this cold. They didn't say much cause a light drizzle has already started and we ran back to the shelter.

As we returned to the dungeons we found most of the people gathering there. Harry, Ron and Hermione was huddled in a corner arguing about something while Harry waved at me. I smiled back. Now, the door to our potion class opened and marked the start of my first ever lesson in THE HOGWARTS!

SEVERUS'S POV:

The class was quiet as usual. I really cherish the fact that most people don't annoy me or at least try their best not to. Yes, I said 'MOST' cause their still were some dunderheads who love to dig their own grave. HARRY POTTER, the chosen one, has topped this list of course, followed by those Weasley kids. But somehow, now I feel their is going to be some more addition to the already existing long list.

I had to take this opportunity right at the start of the term to make these idiots realize how important this year was to them. Even then I was sure they wouldn't be able to get through the basics. As I went on with my start-of-the-term speech, my eyes darted to the back of the class where a girl was huddled in her robes with her wavy shiny hair falling all around her. Though every single one was staring at me, listening with rapt attention, this particular being was looking at my desk with round eyes. My entire presence was ignored brutally. On top of that she kept on making cute facial expressions as if she's studying something intently. What on earth can be so interesting on my desk?

I was really thankful to have completed my instructions without remembering the morning incident. As the class jumped straight to work, that little mice swayed in her seat for some moment, too hesitant to work. Huh? Typical Muggle. Finally after some persuasion from Miss Selwyn, she got down to work. Right on the first day of school, she had chosen not to wear the school uniform properly? Why the hell she is even in my House? I can't even deduct her House points. The girl, on top of that, hugged the robe tightly in a weak attempt to hide her inappropriate clothing. I have to do something but I don't actually want to face her right now.

I was still in a dilemma on whether to reprimand her or not, when I found her grabbing the ingredients Selwyn brought and start working on today's assignment- Draught of Peace. To my surprise, she wasn't following the steps, and making up her own recipes and mixtures. That was enough, though you don't need this class as a Muggle, you aren't suppose to just fool around in MY CLASS. As I swept towards her desk, I oddly found some of her steps very familiar. Yes, they were exactly what I had found out when I was a student at this Grade. How could she possibly knew about these? I thought of giving her some more time. The right time to catch her would be at the end of the lesson, with a failed portion. I smiled internally at the thought. However I don't know why I felt that she was doing the right thing.

This was a particular hard task, and as expected most people were performing miserable at it. Some however was trying very hard to follow the steps and their cauldron showed their attempts. I became busy with my gradings. But within a very short span of thirty minutes my concentration was disturbed by Miss Selwyn jumping around the cauldron which had already started to emit silvery vapors. I couldn't believe my eyes. I haven't heard of any wizard who were succesful enough to brew this specifically hard time-consuming potion in mere forty minutes.

I practically ran to their desk only to see the shimmering the white liquid. Yes! Its perfect. But how is this possible? I kept on staring at the liquid from the corner of my eyes for some long minutes, hoping the potion would show some anomaly. "Professor, here, your Draught of peace will be ready to be served in a moment. Do you have any more plans for your Very Important Ordinary Wizarding Level Lesson?" She smiled sweetly at me, blinking her eyes several times. How dare you mock your teacher?

"Impatient, are we?" Get ready to face my wrath.
