The Party

Avantika's POV

It's been a whole week since the college fest things went usually the way it did.

Except for the fact that I've been constantly thinking about someone I met a week ago.

After the last text he sent to me that night I decided to not reply to him and talk to him only when we meet

This way I can mantain a safe yet polite distance from him.

Anywayss, I'm so so so excited todayyy!!!

It's Aarohi's birthday she's turning 21 today.

She is throwing a party this evening at her bunglow and all of our college friends are invited.

I'm hoping vihaan would also come I just can't seem to get him off my mind.

I wore a lavender colored mid length bodycon dress and my brand new Nike Air Jordans with it matching the shade of my dress..

Lastly, I sprayed on my Victoria Secret perfume, quickly getting ready and soon I left for the party

Vihaan's POV

As it's Aarohi's birthday today so Ishaan & I had to go to her party and wish her.

I first picked up Ishaan from his place and then we together went to Aarohi's place in my black Mercedes Benz.

I was just talking to somebody when  the most gorgeous and beautiful lady entered the hall..wearing a lavender colored bodycon dress.. hugging all her curves at the right places.

She looked like an actual lavender so delicate & precious yet so endearing and calming.

It was none other than Avantika Mehra..the girl I met just a week ago and she still managed to captivate my mind.
I watched her as she hugged my sister and wished her.

I absolutely adored the bond the two of them shared.

I was just looking at her when Ishaan brought me back from the land of day-dreaming.

"Dude comeon let's go meet Avantika & Aarohi." Ishaan said.

As we started walking towards them I noticed it wasn't just me who was gazing at her..she was too looking at me intently as if my presence affected her the same way her presence did to me.

Avantika's POV

His gaze met mine, and for a second,it felt like others weren't there.

It felt like I was being dragged into his gravity against my will.

It felt like it was just the two of us sharing some kind of secret.

I knew what I'd be thinking about and hating myself for when I laid down in bed tonight.

Ishaan and vihaan came towards us and we all were talking but then sometime later Ishaan took aarohi aside to talk about something.

I made a mental note to ask Aarohi about it later.

Just then Vihaan came towards me. We started chatting about random things.. getting to know each other.

I got to know more about Ishaan and his friendship. Apparently they're best buddies since they met in New York and later Ishaan decided to join vihaan in his dad's company here in India.

Both of them are highly ambitious and passionate about their work.

Also I got to know that one thing that's common between both of us is the care and love we share for our families..our two main priorities are work and family.

I glanced at aarohi talking to Ishaan with a slight shock and worried look in her eyes.

I wonder what's wrong with her.

Just then Vihaan brought me back from my thoughts by saying something which was enough to make me blush again.

I decided to leave before embarassing myself.

Aarohi's POV

All of us were having a good time.. speaking to each other.

I could also observe some sparks flying between Vihaan Bhaiii and avantika.

When suddenly Ishaan asked me to come with him for a second.

We went aside and he asked me "what's wrong?"

My expressions changed to utter shock. How does he know that something's been bothering me?!.

I made sure to put on the most realistic fake smile possible.

Offcourse there's something I'm worried about me & vaibhav.We're not working out. Sometimes he makes me feel that I don't matter to him at all..he makes me feel that I'm only important to him because I'm rich.

He's been pressurising me to talk to my dad to give him a job in his company..that too without all the interview formalities.I don't know if I love him anymore..but I can't tell all of this to ishaan.

Offcourse I trust Ishaan .. he's Bhaiii's best friend.

But what if he also starts judging me the same way vaibhav does?! I can't take that risk.

Plastering yet another fake smile I tell him it's nothing he need to worry about and quickly sprint from there avoiding his furthermore questions

Vihaan's POV

After our conversation that made her cheeks flush with a red tint.

Avantika went away swaying her perfect ass all the way up to the bar.

She had a drink or two and then she took on the dance floor showcasing all her sexy moves dancing her heart out.

I was lost in my own world.

Just looking at her and admiring her from a safe distance..when Ishaan out of nowhere spoke up -"you staring at her bro?" With a smirk on his face.

"Just shut your trap"- I said.."ahh shut up I know you damn well"  Ishaan said.

"Fuckkk off Ishaan!!" I Growled at him and he finally went away

When I returned my gaze to avantika I noticed her speaking to a guy and smiling at his words.

I closed the distance between us slowly. And glared at the guy she was talking to..which was enough for the poor guy to run away quickly.

I didn't know why I was doing it. I just knew that watching her smile at some other random guy made my chest tight, that not being close to her was affecting me

And the closer I moved to her, the warmer I felt. I know it's too soon to say this.

I had just known her for a week but I was starting to feel attracted to her.

I don't know what she's done to me but everytime I tell myself that I won't think about her..Her thoughts pull me towards her.. making it impossible to not think about her.

Just by looking at her dancing made me think what if I was there with her  holding her against my chest  swaying and dancing along with her. How good she would look in my arms..ahhh!!

This girl was getting on my mind and I need to do something before I start falling for her.
