Serena and Nate walked through the Main Street of Manhattan.
'Thanks for dinner, it was lovely!' Said Serena.
'It was a pleasure, life's been hard lately. My dads back in rehab and this could be his last Christmas.' Said Nate
'I'm so sorry to hear that, I wish him my best' said Serena.
'Thanks' said Nate, 'I better get going now'
'Yeah...' Said Serena.
'Serena?' Said Nate.
'Yes Nate?' Replied Serena.
'Out of all the girls I've been with... I have never found another one like you.' Said Nate.
'Thanks Nate, you aren't to bad yourself' said Serena.
'Okay then, this is my ride I'll catch u later?' said Nate.
'Yeah' said Serena.
Serena and Nate had already been on three dates since she divorced Dan and maybe it was time to move on to the next level. Was Serena actually falling for Nate again?
Serena got home and threw herself on the bed. Beside her, her mobile buzzed it was Nate.

Serena replied ' meet me now? In Central Park?'
Serena walked along the sideway alone... In the rain. Eventually when Nate showed up they sat on the park bench together.
'Hi, I'm sorry for dragging you out in the rain' Said Serena.
'No problem, I just had to sort out a couple of things at the office. After all, being a mayor is hard. ' said Nate
' anyway, I brought to here to talk about... Well.. Us!' Stuttered Serena.
'Yeah, I was thinking... We have been dating for a while now so why don't we become exclusive?' Said Nate.
'Wow! You took the words right out of my mouth, and absolutely.' Said Serena.
Serena rested her head on Nate, he looked down at her wet blond hair, this was all he ever wanted.
