Clicking heels, one of the most satisfying noises I have ever heard.

My heels were clicking too as I walked in the Ferrari conference room. I got a few 'hello's' from people, but it was rather silent. Adrien was right behind me as well.

The person whom I think manages Charles' entire PR team spoke up first. I think his name is Gabriel.
"I think we all know why we're here today. So firstly, would you or Ms. Adriana like to confirm the rumours true?" What?  We both say no, obviously.
"Okay, so the rumours are at a peak right now, we can't simply just shut them down. They're not small anymore."
"Yeah, we need a distraction for the public, something that will get their mind of these two." Suggests Adrien.

"Excuse me, we have a new thing to deal with. An employee of the hotel claims that she interacted with Adriana about Charles' room number, and when she didn't give it to her, Charles himself came down to get her. She also says that Adriana rudely rejected a picture with her." One of the interns of the team said.
Just great.

"That is true, except for the rude part." Charles said.
"Yeah I didn't take a picture because of obvious reasons." I add.

"Luke, handle this employee situation, we'll discuss it later." Gabriel orders. "So, a distraction, you said? Like a new event or a fundraiser, perhaps?" I have to agree, Gabriel is a bit intimidating. Good that I've dealt with intimidating people before.

"That could work, but again, we're not sure if it would. Plus, if it does, Adriana's social image could be compromised to a mere one night stand of Charles. She's a royal and we can not let that happen."
"Yeah, we can't let Charles be perceived as a fuckboy, it'll be bad for sponsors."

"Maybe we can just let them date?" Another team member suggests.
"And how will that help?" Adrien asks.
"Adriana and Charles have already been linked so much together, so pulling them apart would almost confirm the rumours. What we can do is soft launch their relationship. Drop casual hints here and there until the people piece it together themselves. We won't have to confirm or deny anything. Afterall, people love it when they think they're so smart picking up on "loopholes" and create a "real" story out of it."
"But they aren't dating. What exactly will we soft launch if there is nothing to launch?" Gabriel says.

"She wants us to fake date. I get it." I finally say.
"It's not the worst idea. We could always break it off once the snow has settled." Adds Adrien.
"Adriana, are you sure you want to do that?" Charles asks me.
"I could." I reply.

"We'll just talk in private for a bit and then we'll get back to you guys, okay?" Adrien says and takes me out of the room.

"Liam ended 5 months before. Are you sure you're okay with this?"
"Do we have a better option?"
"We could find one."
"We don't have the time. Plus I think I'm okay with this."
"Your word."

We enter the room again, and it seemed like there had been a fight. I casually go and sit next to Charles and Adrien discusses the terms and all with Gabriel.

"What went down here? The air is so thick."
"I don't want to force you into anything of this sort. People are crazy and they'll do crazy shit once we're official. I just want to make sure that you know that before you agree."
"I know Charles, sometimes you forget that I'm a royal and I'm well-versed with the media-fans-paparazzi world. I'll be fine. Are you okay with this? Charlotte and you broke up like 5 months ago." He went silent for a second. But then spoke up, anyway.
"I guess I'm okay with it unless it interferes with my career. And, about Charlotte, we were already out of it like 2 months before our official break up. So I saw it coming and it's fine now. She's doing well, and I'm fine too."
"I guess so, if you need to talk just give me a call."
"I don't think I'll need to. You'll be coming to most of the races so you'll be around."
"Okay okay. But actually, I'm just a call away."

"The NDA is ready, both of you need to sign it."
