Aether (Teil 3)

After my confession that I actually have been hungry after drinking from the corpse I had some problems. As Xiao pushed me, I flew into the wall and although I noticed that my wound had reopened I stood up and said sorry. He just gave me a weird look and suddenly pulled me to him. After maybe a few seconds I found myself in his arms as I coughed and he went to some people with me. It didn't take a minute and I fell asleep due to the drink this girl forced me to drink.

Waking up I blinked and had a headache but as I saw my watcher I couldn't show and just said that I was bored and wanted to go home. But of course I wasn't allowed to. My view became better but my fear grew. A white room. Don't tell me they did anything to me while I was out! Instantly hiding under the blanket I heard how Xiao went outside. If he said something? My fear grew even more so I went after him and listened to what they were saying. Adepti and the geo archon talking together with the Yaksha was interesting but after Xiao heard that he's now forced to look after me he said something that felt worse than him stabbing me. Tears ran down my face as I made eye contact with him and walked away. At least I tried to. This stupid cough interrupted me and so I sat down. But as I got picked up and laid in bed I was only able to see the green haired disappearing again.
,, I'm sorry... "

Shenhe: I can watch you a little
The white haired smiled and I wasn't sure if I wanted her to but she seemed to be lonely so I let her stay. Turns out she's a human who just happens to be some kind of an Adeptus.
Shenhe: so why is it that you're so badly injured?
,, h-how-"
Remembering my clothes I realized that I was wearing a large shirt and underwear.
Shenhe: we had to let a healer look at you. Sorry if that hurt your privacy.
,, it's ok... I have been the slave of a godess... I don't remember the name though. She was very beautiful but awful to me. Me... Only... Every day she would kick me with her powers and let me get used by others as a training doll... "
Coughing I saw stars but kept myself conscious.

Shenhe: don't force yourself like that. You'll -
Warm and cold waves shook my body and there it was the hole that always appeared when I was sick.
Hours must've passed by as I opened my eyes again and saw that it was dark outside.
Healer: you're awake. You had a panic attack and fainted after. Are you fine now?
Panic attack?
,, I think so"
The girl smiled and put a cup on the table.
Healer: it's tea. Shenhe helped getting the flowers so that even a demon can drink it
Slowly taking the cup off the table I sniffed it a few times. It surely did smell fine and not like human food so I drank it.

It didn't help against my hunger though.
I might get crazy soon and if that happens then Xiao will... I don't like thinking about it...
Healer: you should rest for now. And you can come inside conquerer of demons.
The door opened and the green haired took the place where the girl stood before it went through the door.
,, I thought you should've killed me. Why are you-"
My hand weakened and the cup fell to the floor. An immense pain shot through my body and I screamed my soul out. If he wants to kill me then now would be his chance but he wrapped his arms around me and held me tight.
,, hey, hey calm down. I know it's painful but you'll make everyone worry like this and it'll fade as soon as you calmed down"

Trying to calm down I just couldn't and started to feel as if I was on fire. But then I felt something on my neck and when my view was clear and the pain gone, Xiao was biting me.
,, w-what-"
He let go and turned away but I could see how he was a little flustered and crossed his arms.
,, you uh... Didn't listen. I felt like you would if I did something"
By biting me?
,, but why like that? "
Still blushing I tried to sort my thoughts but it was too chaotic.
,, better than slapping or stabbing right?"
He looked at me and his eyes were serious.
,, wouldn't make much difference... "
Giggling I laid back down but didn't take my eyes off the Yaksha.
,, you're maybe right... Shenhe told us about what you told her. Can you really not remember the godess? "

I closed my eyes and tried to find a name but I just had my sister's.
,, no. I think she got killed but I don't know when, how or who. Her presence is gone so that's my theory"
,, theory. That's usless. "
I wanted to take his hand but didn't because he doesn't like any touching. My emotions were running around in circles and then this one song came to my mind. Circles. Not noticing that I started to hum it and played with my powers I looked at the clock ticking.

,, Snap out of it! "
I had no clue of what I was doing. I even started to sing it out loud and every sense was gone. There was just this song.

Xiao

Aether just started humming and although it was beautiful it seemed to affect him. Whatever he did it turned the room into hell. Everwhere I looked were flames but they didn't hurt and then as he started to sing his eyes and body became black. Whatever he does it looks highly dangerous. Even Morax came inside and was clearly confused by the sudden change.
Morax: what happened?!
,, he hummed and then started to sing like this. I tried to stop him but it's not possible. He's like a shadow right now. "
It took three more Adepti and Morax to make him stop and fall asleep. Even like this he didn't hurt anyone but clearly was gone.
Morax: we need a solution for this. It's not safe like that.
Adepti: it isn't but we can't seal him like Shenhe can we?
,, if it depends on him singing we just have to make sure he doesn't "

Morax: but you said you couldn't make him stop?
,, because I should've stopped him as the first hum started. And this clock shouldn't be in here either. It somehow triggered him"
They were quiet and then it just came into my mind. Is he perhaps able to manipulate the time as a shadow demon? Whatever his family was greatly known for then it has to be this.
Adepti: alright. We take the clock out and you'll keep watching him.
