Chapter 3 - Rockstar Row

This area was a lot different - the air did not feel right. It felt ominous. I was in a whole other area of the so-called Pizzaplex and it immediately felt unnerving the second I walked in.

The neon lights and signs above were the only good lighting visible. It felt chilling - and it wasn't supposed to make you feel that way. I mean it's a family place - but solely meant for kids from the looks of it. Yeah, you get the picture.

The room consisted of a long hallway. I was barely able to see the end of it thanks to the narrow wall to my right. From where I was standing I could see tall glass containers holding what probably was supposed to be mysterious items or artifacts. The first brightly-colored space I saw that stood out from the rest of the hall was an orange room to my right with dark curtains over a giant window in the front. To the left side of that window was a door with a blue star, and a television screen in the upper left corner. There was an orange neon light of a bear above the door. There was a lot more detail put into this area from what you were already seeing.

The orange room must be for the bear mascot. He must be like the leader of them all, right?

I didn't even notice until now that the mascot's name was right above where I was standing before I got close to the door.

"Freddy Fazbear". It is an oddly-sounding name, but it fits well.

The room next door was purple-themed, and it was for "Roxanne Wolf". That too had a door and a window. Another thing I noticed before continuing my walk, was that each one of the spots, or rooms, had golden statues of each of their appropriate characters.

But when I approached the gator's room I saw that its entrance was cracked around the side, almost like an earthquake had occurred from the inside, or something hefty was thrown at it. It didn't make sense - why would this one room have a damaged door?

I approached it cautiously, curious about the cause of it. As I got closer I didn't even notice out of the corner of my eye the three warning signs displayed on the glass where the curtains would be from the inside.

"Hey!" I jumped.

"Um, excuse me what are you doing?" the source of the yelling was a young woman with an officer uniform and blond ponytail who was stomping over to your way. "Do you not see the signs? This area is closed."

"...Rockstar Row?" You questioned nervously.

"This room," she pointed at the green-themed room aggressively, "is off limits to guests," she began glaring.

"Oh,"

The young lady rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry I just.. I was wondering why the door was all-"

"-busted up? Yeah," she sighed to herself and averted her gaze to the floor, her hands now on her hips, "blame Monty for that. We don't know why but he loves wrecking the shit out of his own room."

I looked at her as if I was confused out of my mind (because I was).

She looked back up to meet my gaze. "Monty? Montgomery Gator? He's one of the main characters. Or mascots you should say."

And then the awkward silence came. I wasn't exactly the best around strangers.

The lady arched an eyebrow as if she was confused or intrigued by my being. "Is this your first time at the Pizzaplex?"

"Yeah. I.. just came across this place with not much of a... purpose in mind," I tilted and scratched at my head.

"Oh nonsense I can definitely see you working here. I'm Vanessa," she came closer to reach out her hand for me to shake.

"Jenna." I grinned.

"Alright, Jenna. I'm not sure how much you've seen so far but I can show you around more if you'd like."

"That's fine," I replied as we started making our way back to where I came into this "Rockstar" hangout place. The door opened automatically as it had done before.

But little did I know about the two red glowing eyes looking back at me as I walked away.

Sorry if this chapter's incredibly short I don't exactly have the best time rn to go any further with it so we're gonna have to leave it at that until the next chapter. Hope you enjoyed it! :)
